I had this problem too. Then I decided to do the "Oprah thing". That is ask yourself: how often does the child play with its teddies? I have only half of them left. (They make good presents for little ones who come and play or sleep over also). It was just very hard for me to get rid of them, Yes you heard me, it was hard for ME and not Bronwyn...

haha i've been trying to do that as well...i have a big pile of stuffies that my son has NEVER played with...but i can't seem to give them way! i keep thinking...what if the person who gave it to my son comes over (not that i remember who gave what stuffie anymore lol), or "but it's just sooo cute!"

i have faith i can do it eventualy! lol

ooo light bulb just went off! if you don't have your heart set on storing them in her bedroom, if you have a coffee table you could always attach a net or something underneath it, and then put the animals in the net... i think i may do that with my sons play food!

hmmmmm.... i only have small window sills, but i wonder if i could rig up something to make a back on the window sill so some of the smaller teddys can sit along there.

or i spose they could just have their backs to the window. that would work too.

might do that, then i just gotta worry about the big teddys. but i might just store em under her cot or in our room for now, until she gets a single bed, then they can sit ont he end!

In each of my girls bedrooms they have a mesh pop up girlie laundry basket that they store the many stuffies they each have. In my youngest's bedroom she has all her stuffed penguins in her window sill (I think there is about 20), my middle daughter has baskets in both window sills that she has turned into beds for the special stuffies, and finally my oldest she has a mesh hanging thing (from ikea) that all the stuffies hang in.

I make the girls go through all there stuffies every 6 months and toss the ones they don't play with or the ones they win at fairs. Sorry I shouldn't say toss, we donate them to whatever charity is accepting stuff at the time of disposale.

I like the bean bag chair idea, gotta get me one of those (or I should say 3).

if it is going to possibly damage the wall i dont want to take the chance. the paint in our house is very cheap too, just wiping the wall with water to clean it, takes the paint off. its crap!

the seat thing might be the only way to go, i tried the mesh tube thing, it fell off the wall, and i just tried the net in the corner too, which also fell off the wall.

hmm...maybe you could try those super big suction cups for the walls...i found some at michaels that support up to 12lbs each...

you can get those big sacks that look like beanbag chairs, (i've seen them in a couple places, ikea has them) and you can fill it up with her stuffies and then she can use it as a seat. or (also at ikea) you can get those hanging mesh tube things (lol) i use them for my sons little toys, and it just takes one little hook in the ceiling. or you can go old-school and hang a net up in the corner of the ceiling and gather them all there.
