I lost my mucus plug at 34 weeks. I didn't go into labor though until I was 38 weeks, the doctors said that was completely normal!

Well let me add more details, the doctors told me it was completley normal as long as it didn't have any blood in it.

I lost mine a several hours before I went into labour (noticable labour) but some women dont lose it until they are already in labour. Have you called your midwife/hospital and let them know you lost your plug. Mine made me go straight in for a check as soon as I told them I lost the plug so they could verify - they like to know when you lost it as the longer it is out the greater the chances of infection. Once it has been out for a certain amount of time they recommend inducing the labour if not started naturally :)
