How long is a open baby food jar good for in the frig?

I just wanna know how long an open jar of baby food is good for in the frig? Thanks!

Please be sure when feeding from a jar that you put the food in bowl first and then feed the baby. Feeding directly from the jar introduces bacteria back into the food. 24-48 hrs. is long enough to store it. If you must feed from the jar, traveling etc., just throw the rest out when the baby is finished feeding.

as long as its got the lid on its normaly ok for 2days.
my daughter will only eat half the jar and i give her the other half the next day so i dont really leave them for more then a day.

They say 2-3 days, but I go with 2 to be safe and make sure you don't dip the used spoon in it and then refrigerate it 'cuz bacteria will grow and give baby stomach problems, etc.

It should say on the jar......Normally it will say consume within 3 days but I would always use it up within 48hrs.......when in doubt chuck it out!
