From my understanding a C-section birth doesn't bleed as much becuz they "clean" you out. (I could be wrong, but I think that's how it goes). I've heard that it should stay the same or get less anywhere between 2-6wks, but if during this time it gets less, but then picks back up again, you maybe doing too much, to take it easy. But it's not uncommon for it too last 6wks.

after birth i bled for about a month i think. it wasn't really heavy.
my first period after my son was born was about 7 months later. i breast fed though and that helps it stay away for longer

It really does vary with the person, but up to 6 weeks is perfectly normal. It shouldn't be heavy for all that time. Personally, with both of mine, it was only about 2-3 weeks.

I bled for 4 weeks. Stopped breastfeeding at 6 weeks and got my period 8 weeks to the day after my son was born. That first period after he was born was probably THE WORST period I've ever had. Not as bad as the post delivery bleeding, but pretty close.

4-6 weeks tends to be the 'norm' I hear.
I bled for 2.5 months after having my girls and about 5-6 weeks after having my son. Then w/ him I started my period at 2.5 months.... and every month after.

I bled for 6 weeks, but some people bleed less than that. It depends on the person.

I think it depends on the person. It can be anywhere from 1-6 weeks. I only bled for 3 weeks and then didn't get my period until my daughter was 6 months old because I was breast feeding

4-6 weeks. Fun...I bleed for 4 weeks, had sex and bleed again for 2 more weeks.
