My baby has been having only one bowel movement per day (avg) since he was born and i thought (from what i've read in baby books) they should be having more than that ! I ask the doctor and said it was normal as long as it was not hard ! He still poops once daily or every other day ! and i'm happy when he does bc i know he's ok.. well I just want to know if that happens to other babies !!!

My twin boys are 5 1/2 months old. One has a bm once a day. The other one about 3 times a day. Two the size of a large marble and then one regular size bm. l definately prefer the once a day.

my four month old used to have one or two a day, but recently started having just one every two days. his dr said it is completely normal for a baby to go as little as once ever two or three days sometimes as long as there is no distress in baby. any longer then three days though then she said to come back and see her. no worries as long as he's happy :)

My son had the same problem when he was that age and younger my advice is change his formula or his milk supply and see if it changes some babies are soy milk babies and that might be a change in his might just help it. In most cases your child should have seven wet diapers and 2 to 3 poppy ones. but then again i am pregnant with my second and my son is four and now wearing underwear so i hope this info helps

at this age my daughter would do one large poop a day...and once or twice a week she would do to...but to smaller ones rather then one lerge one. if he is going every 24 hours i dont see a problem

Twins well my best bet is that they are like in some ways but most babies have seven wet and two bowl some babies are different than others but again the are twins this might something that is different between them. Are they drinking enough milk or formula my best bet add some u know its about time for cereal for them so add it to their milk and that might slow it down and make it not so hard but again i am new at this as well as you are but i had a child four years ago and i having my second in a few weeks so i be in the same boat of questions as you guys are. good luck with your twins it must be hard to have to at once and raise both....
