A crazy 35 hrs. My water broke before "real" contractions and I moved very slow as I was trying to have a fully natural birth. Eventually we had to have medical interventions to move me along!! Pushed for 2 of them, cuz my contractions kept getting farther apart...
but I will do again!!

36.5 hours with my first, pushed for almost 5 hours and all natural (complications neccessitated it)
17 hours with my second, had an epidural and slept through the whole thing
I wouldn't trade either of them. I felt like superwoman after having my first, but it was great to have my second with me in the room for hours after his birth (my first was rushed immediately into surgery).

1st-30 hours, then had C-section
2nd-0-had repeat C-section, but had to wait an extra hour for the section because the doctor walked into the operating room and a fly of all things followed her in...so they had to wheel me back out, kill the fly, and re-sterilize everything before they could take the baby out!
