I gained 35 pounds with my son...but I was about 60 pounds over weight to begin with! My sone is now 14 and I have finally lost all of the weight, including the extra 60 I had pre pregnancy!  The trick is, there is no trick! You really have to eat sensibly, exercise, and drink plenty of water! I for one do not believe that diets work. What happend once you lost the weight? You cant live off of salads the rest of your life and thats why alot of people gain the weight back. It really is a life style change!

Good luck to you Tammy!!! Believe you can do it, cause you can!!

I gained over 90 pounds, and was back in my old clothes in 6 months.  It is far more important tho, to make sure you are eating right, and keeping healthy for your new child.  Good luck!!!

I gained 42lbs, lost all but 10lbs of it at the birth, then only managed to partially breastfeed for 12 weeks cos of medical problems, but now, at 7 months, only have 6lbs left to lose. Although I was underweight when I got pregnant so I probably dont need to lose the last 6lbs really.

I gained about 35-40lbs with both of my pregnancies. My boys were both 8 lbs and my breasts went up 3 cup sizes (not including when my milk came in) I did a lot of cardio and pilates after my first son. My husband says that was the best shape he's seen me in, that was probably 1year after giving birth. Then when he was almost 2, I got pregnant with my 2nd. I walked a lot and did Turbo Jam (cardio kickboxing), and that worked really well for me also.

I gained just under 100lbs with my son. I was 130lbs before I got pregnant... I'm currently working on getting it off. The reasearch I read explained that breastfeeding helps the weight loss... however, due to my son's paticular diet and medical issues, I only managed to breastfeed him for 3 weeks :S.. The only thing I can recommend is some physical activity each day. Speed walking is what works best for me... put the baby in the Snugli and strap some weights to my ankles and start walking. The winter cold does help alot too... motivation to keep going and not stop... keeps you warm. Just make sure your baby is secure in the Snugli and if you feel like he/she is slipping out or... walk slowly... the Snugli is not intented for high demand activites.

I gained almost 70 lbs. during my first pregnancy. I am only 5'1 and my pre-pregnancy weight was 105 lbs. I gave birth by c-section to a 7.7 lbs healthy baby boy. It took me 2 years to bring down my weight to 140 lbs. By this time, I was depressed because I knew I was overweight. I woke up one day, looked at myself in the mirror and told myself, I can do it. I was determined to lose weight. I enrolled at the gym and went on a vegetarian diet for three months. The next couple of months, I cut down 80% of my carbo intake. I was going to the gym at least 3-4x a week. Six months later, I was happy and at the best shape of my life at 97 lbs. ('',)

hi, every one puts on a little to much weight when their pregnant, if you,ve just given birth give your slef some time, do your exercise's they help, keep them going for as long as you want, eat sensibly now and when baby is up an toddling around you,ll find that chasing after them should help,

HI, i have put on 21kg's with my second child. it wasnt water 'cause she was dry birth. i didnt go on any diet and it took 10 months for me to loose the weight. i know that breast feeding is good for loosinf weight, but i'm sure a good diet and exercise will also help.

I gained 52 lbs with my son and lost all of it by the time he was 20 months old (when I got pregnant again).  I believe it had everything to do with breastfeeding.

30 lb. I haven’t lost it because I am pregnant with my second child. Although I haven’t gained vary much weight with this one. I am 5mo along and my daughter is 9mo.

I was using my wii fit and I loved it. My husband I also like to get out and do things. We walk places when the weather is nice, go bowling, organize basketball or kick ball games with friends, ect.
