I gained 63 w/ my first child and lost it all by the time he was 9 months old.  I didn't breastfeed or diet.  The weight just came off on it's own.

I gained 45 w/ my second child (craved WAY healthier food during the pregnancy) and again lost it all by the time the baby was 9 months old.  Same as before, no breastfeeding or diet.

I am currently pregnant again, this time w/ TWINS!!  I have decided not to pay attention to how much I gain, my doctors will tell me if I'm putting on too much.  I am hoping I will get lucky again and lose the weight within a year.  Fingers Crossed!!

I gained 14 lbs with my pregnancy, and now that she is 3 weeks old tomorrow, I have 3 bls left to loose before being back to my pre-pregnancy weight. I exercised regualry throughout pregnancy and continued to eat heatlhy. The truth is, I probably should have gained a little more. My daughter ended up being born 3 weeks early b/c she was not getting enough nutrients from the placenta. Im a small framed woman anyway, and very short, so I did not weigh just a whole lot anyway and there was no more room for her to grow inside me! Breastfeeding has certainly helped shed the lbs as well!

I gained 35 kilos in my 1st pregnancy and lost all but 4 kilos with breast feeding and Weight Watchers (I lost 40 kilos with WW before getting pregnant) then I lost a baby and put on another 6kgs. so started this pregnancy 10 kilos heavier but have managed only to put on 11kgs and i'm at 32 weeks. so i'm happy with that. Will go back to weight watchers after this bub is born

I gained 50 pounds both times (I was hungry) anyways I lost the 50 (both times) and look better than ever because of killer cardio. Keep it fun but if you're not sweating, it's not enough.

I gained 26 pounds and lost it all in about 4 or 5 weeks because of breastfeeding.

[deleted account]

I gained 25lbs during my pregnancy. Most of my weight was fluid and baby, but the little that was left, I walked it off. My daughter was a summer baby, so every nice day I'd put her in the stroller and go for an hour or so walk.

I gained 37 lbs on my small, 5'2" frame.  I lost most of it the first two weeks after birth... probably 25 lbs of it.  Just baby weight, placenta, fluids, etc.  Then I lost about another 5 or so until I went on Depo at 6 weeks.  That made me retain the weight... I was active, eating right, and breastfeeding, and it would come off.  I finally went off depo about 6 months ago and have lost the last little bit, and am back to just over my pre-pregnancy weight.  It's been a year since my son was born.  Don't worry too much about losing it. Diets don't work... you have to have a healthy lifestyle.  Exercise, eat healthy, and breastfeed are the best tips for getting the weight off and keeping it off.  Also steer clear of Depo... it even says on the package that it can cause weight gain!

i was very overweight, but really changed my lifestyle before i got pregnant and i was told to be careful not to put tooo much weight on. I have only put on 1kg from when i was 3months pregnant, (that was one week after the birth) i had been sick and lost weight so i think i accidently lost weight while pregnant and i dont think i have put any on since and my LO is now 6 weeks. It is all about diet and exercise

I gained 36 lbs with my daughter, and lost it by the time she was 6 weeks. I continued to lose weight (because I was up to 278 lbs while pregnant with her). I got pregnant again with my son and only gained 15 lbs...(he was a 10 lbs baby). I've lost it all and more, but honestly I think the only reason I did so well with my second pregnancy was fear of developing gestational diabetes again. (I never got it during my second pregnancy). Keeping up with a 2 1/2 year old does help to keep off the weight. I just have to watch eating her left-overs, grilled cheese crusts, etc.

Hi Ladies,

I have come across something pretty exciting that you may want to look at. It may be a good fit for you as you do not have to do a ton of recruiting to make it work. Check it out and let's talk soon. I will do my best to keep it short. Remember, if this fits, great, if not it is 100% OK, but be sure to read it.

You Can Capitalize on $150,000,000 in Infomercials. (Yes, 150 Million Dollars)

After you read this all the way to the end go to www.extremedreamcafe.com.

As you read the following and check out the website there are several key points to look for.

§ Nation Wide Advertising (150 Million Dollars)

§ Free customers, business builders and future commissions assigned to you.

§ Easy soft sell (no hassle approach).

§ Low start up.

§ Marketplace recognition.

Personally, I enjoy being a sales professional and the industry of Network Marketing. I believe in the concept of residual income and the possibilities of creating something big. In these uncertain times diversification only makes good financial sense, so we have integrated a true fitness company into our business portfolio.

That being said, I realize many people don’t really like talking to people about this stuff and I think many others are uncomfortable in a face to face meeting. Most people have tried a number of these businesses and made very little money because it was all up to them to make it work. But, this is so different. There is a system that will bring customers to you, and the money will follow. You are one of the first in your area to hear about it. I think this is going to be very big and I thought of you.

I have teamed up with a health and fitness company named BEACHBODY to get in great shape and make some serious money. You may have heard of some of their products such as HIP HOP ABS, P90X, Turbo Jam, etc… Right here in Colorado and across the country, everyone including CEO’s, health professionals, coaches, stay at home Moms, real estate brokers, financial consultants, and sales professionals are seeing the potential and joining our team.

So, why do I think this one is different? First and foremost, what sets this apart from all other opportunities I have looked at is the 100 million dollars that BEACHBODY will spend on 30 minute infomercials in 2009. Why is this key? New infomercial customers (2 million in ‘08) and future commissions are assigned to us as BEACHBODY reps. You can be assigned up to 5 new customers per week through the BEACHBODY system. Think about what this will mean over time! Now, with the help of BEACHBODY, their 100 million infomercial campaign, and technology we have a better way of getting this information out and making this opportunity work for all of us.

BEACHBODY will soon launch an additional 50 million dollar infomercial campaign to attract new business builders. Capped at 5 per rep per week, these new BeachBody reps and future commissions generated by them and their customers will also be assigned to existing qualified BeachBody reps. Timing is perfect for us.

Additionally, our team has done the due diligence on this company, their system and the upside potential. It is big…over 1 million in annual income can be earned! BeachBody is a 9 year old, debt free, 300 million dollar company, whose products are recognized in close to 75% of the homes in the U.S. They expanded to a home based business only 25 months ago and already many average people are making 5K per month and more.

In order to succeed, you need to believe fitness is a good thing. Then, by making a few calls or by sending out an email such as this, find 2 people who would be interested in getting paid to get fit. You can do more if you want, but after you find 2, the system kicks in and starts adding up to 5 customers to your group every week.

I fully expect to create an income of 5k per week by the end of the year. It may be a bit more or less but it will be significant and I will be healthier as a result of my decision to join the BEACHBODY team. I have lost almost 20 pounds already.

The first step is for you to go to www.extremedreamcafe.com Click on the arrow in the middle of the screen. Watch it in its entirety. There are two videos tied together with a PowerPoint in between. It’s our first run through on the PowerPoint, so it is a little rough and a little long but it has some great information. Take some notes so you can get your questions answered. Watch for Traci Morrow and Milan Jensen. We are on their team.

Again, I don’t want you to be uncomfortable. However, almost everyone I know would like more income. Doing exactly what I am doing today with this e-mail will allow you to achieve some great results in a very comfortable way. Everyone knows two people who would like to lose weight, get in shape, or make more money. Anyway, after you take a look, if you want to get involved or have questions, give me a call or e-mail. If you don’t have any interest, it is totally OK. I have to admit I saw it right away and got involved immediately. So, follow your instincts and whatever you decide is great with me!

I gained 13lbs. I was very active throughout my entire pregnancy and actually was back to my pre-pregnancy size 2 days after giving birth to my daughter. It was definitely all baby. However, my body's definitely not the same and it seems like I have to work harder now to tone it. Breastfeeding has kept the weight off (my appetite has increased a little unfortunately) and a lot of Wii Fit and taking the baby for long walks whenever it's nice out.

I only put on 17 or so lbs and my doc said he only wanted me to gain a max of 20 lbs.  I have PCOS and weight is VERY difficult for me to get off despite how much I work out.  I started out (pre-preggo) at 193 lbs.  I then lost in the first 2 months and went down to 181 lbs.  By the time everything was said and done I only weighed 202 lbs.  When I was BFing I lost weight quickly and went down to 180 lbs in a heart beat.  Within a month of stopping BFing, I went back up to 195 lbs.  I'm SO depressed about it and despite Weight Watchers or anything else I try I am NOT losing it.  Next month once the doc okay's it (bad back) I am going to start to go to Curves.  Hopefully it'll help.

I'm still at a 130lbs and would like to get back down to 105lb but being at home theres always food around & since its freezing out my out door exercise has gone down the drain. I bought some pills that are suppose to help control your hunger but you have to drink 10 bottles of water and I'm lucky if I can drink one.

I gained about 25 lbs with my first and it looks like I'm on track with the same with my second. I think you need to be patient. It takes 9 months to put it on you should expect at least that much time. It took me 18 months or so to get my shape back, even if the scale was close to my pre-preggy weight, not to worry walk... 20 mins a day and eat smart. Give yourself time.

[deleted account]

Putting everything in perspective... I'm 25 yrs old & measure 5ft 6in. I gained 25 pounds exactly with both babies and I lost it all with Body for Life. It's not a diet- it's just healthy eating & exercise. Sounds easy enough- a cliche for sure.... but no one or not many seem to "get it" despite that. The developer, Bill Phillips has a book titled just that: "Body for Life". In it he explains every last detail of how it works- from your frame of mind and your peers to the food and exercise. Definitely worth it.

PS

I weigh 120 pounds... my youngest is 1.5.

Enjoy your pregnancy/baby!!!

Before I got pregnant I was about 122lbs. It is hard to tell how much I actually gained.... I lost about 15lbs in my first trimester because I couldn't eat a thing. No sickness... Just 24 hour nausea. So in total I gained 35lbs. I am back down to what  I was in my second trimester when I could eat again, 15lbs less then when I got pregnant. My daughter is now 6mo old. I owe it all to breastfeeding! I haven't dieted or exercised!! Although I should... Your body definately does not look the same after having a baby!!! But it is one of those things you wouldn't change for the world!

I gained 50 pounds with both pregnancies and was not able to breast feed. I lost all the weight within 7 months by eating healthy and getting out for walks with the baby. I used a snugli or the stroller depending on where I walked or the weather. There really is no trick-eating healthy and getting active-that is what you have to do. Don't get discouraged. I was never overweight in my life and it was hard to try to find clothes to wear right after giving birth. It is hard at first, but it will get easier if you stick with. Remember to eat healthy and try to get some sleep.

With my 6 year old, I gained 40 pounds (started at 155).  The Navy put me on a mandatory work out schedule 5 days a week. When I finally started losing the weight, I found out I was pregant with my 4 year old.  I gained 60 pounds with him and only lost about 20 before I got pregnant with my almost 3 year old.  I only gained about 20 pounds with her but that was on top of the weight from my son.  I am  now 202 pounds and going through lots of life issues.  I know it is coming off slowly at this point but there are lots of days I feel really depressed from looking at my fat rolls.  I've been walking a lot but it is now too cold outside.  I can't wait for some summer sunshine!!!  :)

I was only able to breast feed the first for 6 weeks before realizing my supply wasn't enough. So with the current pregnancy I have gained 7 so far at 7 months along. no matter what I will have at least 60 to lose after this pregnancy before #3 happens. So I hope I can do it,

I gained 50lbs during my pregnancy and I lost 60lbs as of now. What really worked for me was doing at least 30 mins of any kind of cardio every day, yoga every second day, and resistance training 3 days week with my baby in my sling! That's all lost though if you don't follow a very balanced diet with lost of chicken, fish, vegies and lots of water and tea! I took a lot of my dairy products out too. Everybodys body is different so it might take longer or sooner to reach your goals but all that matters is that they are reached. I thank my 5 month old daughter for helping me get this far as well! :)
