How old is your child and will you be giving them chocolate at Easter?

my little girl was 14 months for easter and she got a few things for easter, there was lots of chocolate but also books and toys etc. She still has a lot left. She got into lots of chocolate on the day though.

14 yrs, 10 yrs & 7 yrs and they got the same 1lb chocolate bunny they've gotten since they were 1 years old. The difference is how much they are allowed have.

My son is 8 year's old. And he really doesn't get chocolate candy. Because he has a problem with chewing and swallowing. I think that's a good idea. Not to give your 9 month old chocolate. At 9 months, he doesn't need it. You can even give him pudding or flavored yogurt. If he likes it. My son love's it.

Well my lil boy will be nearly a year old..his 1st birthday is the weekend after, and he will be definitely getting an Easter Egg. It's a special occasion so I don't mind just this once, but if he is anything like me, he will LOVE chocolate later anyway!! He always gets spoilt by our extended family, so no doubt he will be getting toys and other Easter stuff too :)

My boys are 2 and 6 months. The 2 year old will get chocolate. Sadly, he takes after his mommy and is a chocolate addict, lol! The 6 month old will not. He'll get a stuffed bunny, some Gerber puffs, a toy, and an Easter book or DVD in his Easter basket. I don't allow them to have chocolate before a year, and especially with him, since he won't eat solids so far, I certainly don't want him to have chocolate and decide he loves that and refuse anything else!

My daughter is 2 and she won't be having any chocolate, but thats not because of my preferences, it's because she doesn't like chocolate really, a few buttons here and there, but she can take it or leave it. I will probably buy her an easter bunny as she has had for the last 2 easters!! And will probably make some bonnets and nests.

My daughter will be 10 months, and I will be putting a 1 chocolate egg, but that's just for tradition, she will not eat it, someone else will :). I am painting and decoupageing some pretend eggs to put in her basket, to make a memory keep sake of her 1st easter. She will also be getting a "my first easter bunny" and new outfit and some shoes. The week leading up to eater, we will have some fun activities (like finger painting baskets and writing letters to the easter bunny) to do.

Reading through various posts reminds me that sometimes the hard part is the easy part. :-) I've generally heard that in relation to discipline, but in this instance I mean the "newborn" stage. My daughter is 4 1/2 mos., so I definitely won't be giving her chocolate at Easter this year. My folks are coming to visit, and I guess my dad's got a camoflauge & lace Easter bonnet for her.
