All children get teeth at different ages. I have three children who are now loosing teeth and that too is happening differently between the first and second child. My eldest didn't get teeth till nearly eleven months. Her second tooth came on her first b.day!
She's now seven and whistles when she talks because of the holes in her mouth.

My son just got his first TWO teeth on the bottom in the front. He is 4 and a half months. I use baby water with added fluoride for his bottles. Some say that is to blame for him getting his teeth so early.

My first child got her first tooth at 9mo. My two boys that followed got teeth much earlier though. Just wait till 1st grade when your child is asking when will he loose a tooth? My daughters was late in getting teeth and slow in loosing them as well.

My son cut his first tooth at 3 1/2 months. He's now almost 11 months and has 8 teeth. But I have a friend whose children didn't get any teeth until they were a year, and they got their molars first- all 3 children. She said that her teeth came in the same way. If you have a baby book from your childhood, check and see when you and/or your spouse got their first tooth. Might help.

2 month and at 8 years old he has a very aged mouth and now has braces. Cutting teeth is hereditary, check with your parents and see when you and your significant other got their teeth, thats a good way to see when your baby will get teeth.

My oldest had his first two teeth at 3 months, and one of my twins, now 2, was 11 months when his first erupted. The other 3 were all in between those ages.

every child is different. The normal age range is between 6 months to 12 months for the first teeth. The later they get it, the later they loose them, so if he gets his teeth by 8 months, he will loose those teeth at 7ish instead of 6ish. It is not important when they get it as long as you dont have congenitally missing teeth in the family history.

My daughter got her first tooth when she was 5 months old. By the middle of 6 months she had her full bottom bunny teeth! =)

My daughter just got her first two teeth a week and a half ago. She will be 4 months old on the 6th of Dec. Every baby is different... I have friends whose children didn't start getting teeth until 9 months or so.

ive 9 months twins my boy got his bottom 2 at 6 months and is now getting his top 2. my girl has ony just got her bottom 2 last week. so wont be long now for you

my son got his first 2 teeth at 2 1/2 months then they followed w/ 2 at a time at quick intervals - don't worry every child is different and they will come in when they are ready

my daughter didnt get any untill 9 and a half months. then REALLY quickly she got 2 and the grew so fast(full grown in like 2 weeks). Shes now just over 11 months and shes still only got the 2 little toothy pegs at the front bottom

Hi Bonnie...don't fret every child is different....although the average children cut their first tooth between six months to a year all three of my children cut their first tooth at 13 months old. My 13 year old still has half his baby teeth and my oldest child didn't lose their last baby tooth till they were 17. But not to worry their teeth are fine.

My daughter was almost 11 months old (got the bottom 2 at the same time), although she was born 5 weeks early. pretty sure they are in there- just wait it out... Also- my pediatrician said that the longer they stay in, the better the enamel- so waiting is a blessing in disguise.

my daughter was teething for 3 mths before she got her first tooth at 9 mths! now shes 15 mths and still only has 10 teeth! they'll come in when there good and ready! his doctor will let you know if its not ok!

Sounds like my daughter she is 8 months morrow n not a single tooth. Most baby friends also have teeth as well. The health nurse said they normally get teeth between 8-10months so dont worry. I also read on net that some children can get their 1st at 18 months.

I was in the same boat for a while there. Brycen was showing no signs of any teeth yet he was teething very much. He's 8 1/2 months old and we've had teeth since 6 months or so. With this being my first child, I have learned to see how he develops althought it does make me curious how other children are developing. lol

My kids were 4 months when they got their first teeth, but I got mine early, too. My neighbor's daughter only had 4 teeth at 1 year. Each kid is different, but tend to get them around when their parents did. Hope that helps!

Wil started teething around 3 mths and it didnt cut through till 6.5mths. His second cut exactly 2 weeks later. He is now teething again (i think) and he is almost 9mths.

I felt the same way when my Daughter wasnt getting any teeth. After her first birthday they just all started popping through. She is almost 2 now and is getting her last molars.

Matthew just got his first tooth this month (8 1/2 months) and the second came the following week. Now at 9 months the top two are starting to cut through. I don't remember when Joshua got his first tooth (he's 8 now). Jenna got her first tooth at about 3 months. Don't sweat it though...each child is different. Check with your child's doctor if it is worrying you. Weird fact...some babies are born with teeth!

Both of my boys got their first teeth at around 5 months. My daughter was 8 1/2 months. She is 19 months now and still doesn't have all of her teeth. It is really and individual thing with them. I hope when your son does get teeth, he doesn't have much pain.

My 1st got her 1st tooth about 3 months. My 2nd was 4 weeks (yes, 1 month). That is bad. The older they are when they get their 1st teeth, the better. It has something to do with stronger / better teeth. Count your blessings.

my son was 5 months and my daughter 8 months. im a dental nurse and the average age for children to start getting teeth is around 8 months. i wouldn't be concerned, all kids are different. consider your self lucky that you haven't been bitten yet!

My little boy is starting to teeth now and he is 8 weeks, every baby is different, i would prefer my little boy to develope his teeth later, as they are supposed to have healthier teeth if they come throughj later. when he starts to teeth you will know, my boy has bright red cheeks all the time, and trys putting all his hand in his mouth al the time. i didnt notice until the other day when i saw 2 little white teeth starting to appear.

My oldest daughter's first tooth came at 12M, my middle daughter's first tooth came at 19M, and my son's first tooth came at about 12M....finally my baby girl's first tooth came at about 11M.....all children are different, and will grow at their own pace.....try never to compare yours to others - yours will be just fine.

My son just got his first tooth an he 6 months old. It will come they say babies first tooth come in between 6 - 9 months old so he still in the average range...Look for signs he drooling a lot an putting everything in his mouth?

my son has just turned one and now has two teeth. He didn't get his first tooth until he was 10 and half months. Children are all different they will come in their own time. Don't worry about what other children are douing.

My son got his first tooth at 5months & showed no signs of teething, it just appeared one morning! His second came the next day :) he is now 10months and has 8 teeth (4 on top and 4 on the bottom) but has been that way for a few months now..
It just goes to show they can come really quickly or take months at a time, every baby is different & in my case, every tooth is different. Some caused lots of distress/pain and some just appeared over night!!
Don't compare to other babies, everyone is different :)

All 3 of my kids didn't have any teeths til about 10 or 11 months. It's ok and the dentist told me better the longer it takes their teeth to come in the healthy they are. So don't stress too much about it, it will happen before you know it.
