Just think you don't have to start brushing yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! one less thing to do. My daughter got ther bottom 2 at the same time, they were half way through for her 1st birthday and my son got his first one at 5 mths

15 months, 12 months and 9 months. All babies are different. Seems the older they are when they come in the less it bothers them.

be glad your son doesn't have teeth yet: they haven't been exposed to the sugars in his milk all this time!...good thing as far as dental issues go!...to answer your question, though, both my sons didn't get their first teeth in until they were almost nine months...

not till 1 year for one of them. be thankful. the later they cut the better shape the teeth will be in, less exposure to milk.

One of my twin daughters was born with teeth, but her brother and sister were closer to 10/11 mths. The one born with teeth was told there was nothing holding them in and they should fall out by the time she was 6 mths old...they were smaller than the rest growing and eventually fell out at 5 1/2 yrs old! She has really crooked teeth and are currently waiting for all her baby teeth to come through so we can discuss braces...oh the joy!

Teeth are not a worry, they all come in at different times for different children. The slower

they come in the stronger the teeth. Teething is not fun, so be blessed that you haven't had to deal with it yet.

My cousins son was a year old before he started cutting teeth. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

It's usually genetic-usually just over 12 months in my own family. Dentists say this is great since a later eruption of teeth ensures formula, etc. isn't left on them, so less chance of decay!

Hopefully your son won't get teeth until he can understand "No biting!"

My baby (now almost 12 yrs) didn't get teeth until he was 13-14 months old. I was so worried I had the doctor take x-rays to make sure the teeth were really under the gums.

Every child is different. My pediatrician and dentist both told me that the later the child is getting their teeth the better the teeth are. My middle daughter was my latest to get her teeth and yet hers are the best of all three.

my son started teething hard when he was less than 3 months old but didn't get a tooth until he was almost 8 months, my oldest daughter was 5 months and my youngest daughter was right at 11 months old. All 3 of my kids have very healthy teeth now. I think toothless babies are so cute! They will start popping in so fast you won't be able to keep up with it!

My son was four months old when he got his first two teeth at the same time. There's really no specific time for them to come in. They will show up when his body is ready. No worries!

my son was a year old when he got his first tooth, he is now 14 and never had a cavity. I always heard that the longer it takes for the teeth to come in the better their teeth are.

so I wouldnt worry about him not having any teeth yet.

Before I was a mom I worked as an assistant in a pediatric dentist office. It was a learning experience that I really enjoyed. All children have different "dental ages". There is no wrong time period for teeth coming in. If the primary teeth come in early then they will get their adult teeth earlier than some around them. The same goes with them coming in "late". They will loose their primary teeth later than some others around them. It really has nothing to do with them being stronger...it's just that everyone is different.

My olderst son had his first tooth at 14mths. He is 7 and a half now, and still has his baby teeth. we had to go to the dentist and pull out two bottom teeth, as his 2 adult ones came through, but the baby ones wont budge. I have always been told that the later they come the better. the only issue he has is chewing his food. :)

My kids both had at least two teeth by age 6 mths. In fact they lost all of their baby teeth early and were done wearing braces early. Some kids are just like that. It's nothing to be concerned about!

my son was 13 months when he got his first tooth, and he got his molars first. my mom-in-law said that her dentist said if they com in scattered like that, that it is a sign of intelligence, but their teeth will come in when they are ready, and its always a good idea to start them brushing their teeth even before the have them to get usd to it.

Hi Eeva, I know the feeling. My daughter's finally just sprouting 2 teeth at the same time and she's 10 months old. Her brothers started much earlier so I guess it's just when they're ready. Not to worry, he'll have them when he's good and ready!!!

Cheers

My first son was around 7 months when he got his first teeth. My second son is only 3 months so i have the teething stage to look forward to yet. He's munching on his fingers all the time though. I wouldn't worry too much, all babies develop at their own rate.

my son didn't get his first tooth until he was 10mths and my daughter got her first at 8mths. I didn't get my first tooth until I was 15mths Dad tells me and I hear that quite often. Your son will get his teeth in his own time and they say the older they are before getting teeth the longer they'll keep their teeth coz they aren't exposed to food & drink :)

Good luck and before you know it he'll be chomping on steaks :)

my first son was 4 months old when he started getting his first 2 bottom teeth, my second son is 5 months and just starting to get his. i wouldn't worry about it too much though he should start getting them soon. it just depends on when his teeth are ready or not. mine just got theirs earlier then most. just be patient and don't freak out, they will come in when they are ready.

My first daughter started getting teeth at 6 months and my second got hers when she was 8 1/2 months so I think it just depends on the child they each reach their milestones at different times.

Hi Evea, I have six children and they all got their teeth at different times some started teething as early as four months and one didn't get even one tooth till he was 10 months old. As long as your baby is growing and being loved you really need not stress! Enjoy your beautiful baby - they grow so quickly. He will have teeth when he needs them.... All my best wishes to you and your family!
