How soon into your pregnancy did you experience feet and ankle swelling?

I am 4 months along and when I work and am on my feet for over an hour they swell so horribly... is there anything that I can do to prevent this or relieve the pain?

If you see this, leave this form field blank.

Mine started at about 5 months along, try soaking your feet at night and remember to keep them up as much as possible and also remember that sugar increases water retention, so dont go over your dayly limit. Good luck hun, it will all be worth it in the end :-))

I have had the same thing with both my pregnancies. (I'm 5 months along with my 2nd)
The only thing I found that helped me was to drink lots of water (oddly enough it helps prevent fluid retention), and to find time to put my feet up for a few minutes a day.

Hi,

Always find time to sit down and put your feet up. That helped me a lot!

Thanks,
