My 4 year old goes fine peeing on the potty, but as far as pooping she will not go. Whether she just isnt getting it or she is just stubborn? I am almost at the end of my rope with it.

I am in the same boat, Missy. And I usually feel like I can't talk about this to other Moms. I'm glad I'm not alone in this struggle. I have a boy. I just thought it was b/c boys are a little slower at the potty training. He's very smart and has gone poop on the potty before...but very few and far between (maybe a handful of times). We have started putting him in pull-ups b/c I was constantly buying underwear. I don't know what to do. The ped said to discipline him for it, but I just can't see doing that.

mine still arent doing it all the time but something thats starting to work with them is a baby that "pees" i use iced tea in stead of water when i want it to "poop" and then have the girls "feed" it and then help it go on the potty. you could try it.
