Quoting Julie:
my daughter is Grace Gerrardine, in the family we also have Erin,Lily Ciara Niamh, Lydia, Ruby, Nancy, Georgia Mae, jessica
YAY!!! I love the name Niamh, do you pronounch it the traditionaly way? (Neve) or like the movies, (nim)? I also give kudos to Evlyn, that is what we were going to name a little girl, Evalynn Grace. We also tossed around Aryn, Niamh, Channon, Maeve, Hope, Faith, Mina, Avalynn, and a couple others. From the start we knew we would name a boy Cohen, the only decision was the middle name, we settled on dads middle so we have a Cohen Patrick. The next boy will be a combo of their Godfathers family name and dad's first name... Cohen is a germanic surname, it means priest or high priest in Hebrew. So when you put all three names together it means "Noble Priest of the Beautiful Place". We didn't even know what the first name meant until after we named him, my sister was taking hebrew classes to convert to Judaism and she asked about it.

I chose old family names for my girls. Which at the time were not popular. I was so upset when all of the sudden everyone was naming their girls Emma and Isabel. Do you have any old family names you can choose from?
Iris, Ava, Max, Roman

I recommend getting a Baby Name Book that specifically has sections dealing with classical, traditional, or unusual names. Something like Beyond Jennifer and Jason by Linda Rosenkrants & Pamela Redmond Satran and The Very Best Book of Baby Names by Bruce Lansky. Have fun picking your your baby's name!

My son is JEFFERSON CURTIS My great grandfathers first name and my fathers-in-laws name. We also like Keeley for a girl. I would suggest naming after family it gives meaning to the name , (even just a middle name). Another suggestion : Dont name them something that you have to say "the name is this, but sounds like this."
good luck with the name

I was going to suggest Taygan but someone already did. Thats weird. (they just spelled it different) I also wish I would have used Tavia. My daughters name is Brynn (pronounced Brin) but I'm not sure I'm happy I went with that name. I really wish I would have went with Taygan, or Tavia> (kinda rhymes with mafia so you know how it's pronounced) I knew a girl by that name and she was beautiful.

I had the same issue as you do with finding a unique baby name, I wanted something different but not weird. I did not accomplish different. I thought I did but didn't. i have four kids, two of each. Mine are; Jenna Elizabeth, Ethan John, Elijah Riley and Hayden Emmaliegh. My suggestion is to find a name you like and give it your own spine like a little different spelling or combining two that you like.

My husband and I are both into the unique baby names. We like to switch up the spellings of the names, and we also liked some boy names for girls. We named our first son CeJae (C.J.) and if he would of been a girl the name would of been Calixta James. I know it's silly, but I really think the model that is named James King is gorgeous and my husbands middle name is James so James as a middle name just worked weather a boy or a girl.
