I have a 21 months old son which has extremely dry skin and his scalp is also extremely dry. I use Aquaphor and Eucerin which I apply on him at least three times a day, his pediatrician recommended Mometasone Furoate Onintment USP, 1.0%, and I was told to use it on him for 7 days, , but it hasn’t him much, he also suggested to put baby oil on his scalp but it hasn't helped either. i have tired everything from soap with no sent to lotions but they keep itching to the point where they are making scars. does any1 know of anything else that I can try

I would try a pediatric dermotoligist

have you tried aveeno therapy baths on Him and aveeno Products? My daughter has TERRIBLE SKIN and her pediatrician told me to just go to the store and purchase the aveeno baths.. it's something like oat meal you just put it in the tub while he bathes and you use the lotion and other products... to re-enforce.. it is scentless and affordable!... Try Aveeno !
