thanks Jodie, i had hodgkins lymphoma on my neck ans chest and he assured me that the treatment should have an impact on my ability to have a baby but now I'm starting to wonder. i read up about the effects of the treatment and now I'm just worried i may be the acception.

Zandisa, cancer treatments can all affect fertility, I'm surprised your oncologist didn't explain the risks to you. Sometimes the fertility problems are only temporary, but they can also be permanent. Apparently it depends on the type of chemotherapy drugs you had too - I believe some affect fertility less than others. It also depends on the type of cancer and location as to whether radiotherapy may have affected fertility.
It may be worth having a talk to your doctor and getting your hormones checked if you are concerned.
