I had a friend that had several miscarriages before she found out it was the Rh factor in her blood causing the problem. It is a simple fix and she ended up with a great pregnancy after. Sometimes the simple fixes are overlooked. I agree with the others though, you have to wait at least 6 months and let your body recover. Good luck!

If you are having the miscarriages at five weeks, you may not even really be pregnant, at least not in the classic sense of the word.  There is such a thing as a chemical pregnancy.  There also may be problems with a certain set of your eggs, where the ovums just are not developing properly.  I would quit trying for a while and see a fertility specialist about getting on various treatments in case you are having hormonal issues keeping the egg implanted.

I had my first daughter when I was 19 followed by 5 miscarriages over the next decade, I would take prenatal vitamins prior to trying with each one and soon after miscarry, within a week of finding out. I went to specialists and had different tests done, a hysterosalpingogram, which tested the flow from my falopian tubes but that was normal. I changes doctors and decided to follow his advice. Since I had NOT taken prenatal vitamins during my first pregnancy, he told me to not be on them and I had to NOT try to get pregnant for 1 year, to let my body heal, 3 of my miscarriages were in about a 2 year span. So I did not take any prenetal vitamins and I got pregnant again, (that was the easy part) and I stayed pregnant. I have an aversion to the folic acid in prenatal vitamins which although an important thing during pregnancy my body rejected it. In my 6th month my doctor wanted tme to try taking a low dose folic acid, but I refused and I delivered a full term healthy baby girl. My husband and I got pregnant again...(while on the pill taken faithfully, getting pregnant was never the problem) and again I didnt take prenatals, and again delivered a full term baby girl... You seem to get pregnant easily but you also need to give your body time to heal from a miscarriage, a month or 2 isnt enough, I understand that you want another baby, but you need to give your body time. Wait at least 6 months before trying and then try not taking the prenatals....I hope this helped.

i read on a post something about 'chemical pregnancy' dont know how reliable the post was, but it might be worth looking into. also 7mc in 12 months is alot to put your body through. it might be worth leaving it a few months to recover completely before trying again. sending you lots of hugs, i know how hard it can be x

i have had 3 miscarriages and 2 preterm babies. But mine is because i have PCOS and Endometriosis. The progesterone shots are a good idea. Or having them do a cerlage as soon as you have a confirmed pregnancy. Beofre you get pregnant, start taking prenatal vitamins, iron and folic acid. It will help to prepare you womb for pregnancy. Have your dr do blood tests, you may have a gene defect. Were you Rh negative with your other child? Good luck.

yup,I believe taking the progesterone shots is an option you can try,but it's quite expensive and furthermore you have to take the shots weekly, then if you get pregnant you continuously take different types of shots weekly, then monthly until your womb strong enough...

My sister had an issue with that and she got progesterone shots - I believe they were weekly. You may want to look into that. Wishing you the best.

dear chelsea,I feels so sad and its affect me to know that you've miscarried 7 times,it tooks a lot of patience and emotion to deals with such situation..first of all others may said that if you miscarried, it is because of your fertility status..or your partner ,or it is because your womb is not strong enough to support it,if you have already went to see the gynaecologist and you've tried everything and still doesn't work out,I think you should try a different ways, maybe you should focus on what you takes to make your womb more fertile and strong, maybe there's a product that can do that at your place, here there's a product called Biodex,it helps mums to regain health inside and outside,to prepare them for the pregnancies,it's great and many have taken it get pregnant..but you can still look for other products, maybe take multivitamins or vitamins related to pregnancies...good luck.

I know someone that had 9 miscarriages. But God told her I have promised you I will give two kids. A girl and a boy. Today she has a little 2 year old and her boy will be born in March 2009. All she did was put her trust in God.

do you know how to take your temperature to see when you are avulating and when you might be pregnant. if not, there is a great book called "Taking Charge of Your Fertility." I learned so much in this book. I had to take Clomid with my first 2 pregnancy tries - successful after a year and half. My third baby was a surprise! But, I knew I was pregnant because my basal temperature was up and I was only 4-5 weeks pregnant - already spotting (thought I was starting my period) - and I called my OB and he called in the Progresterone. It was a 9 month pregnancy and she is here now with a very stinky poop in her diaper :)

when you fing out you are pregnant next time ask your ob/gyn to put you immediately on progesterone pills - without checking a level. my family has a history of miscarriages after the first child. my mom had 4 miscarriages after my oldest sister. my sister had 3 after her first child. her fertility specialist told her that her progesterone was too low no matter the level. she got pregnant, took progesterone pills and had 2 more successful pregnancies. i did the same thing but i did it right away when i found out i was pregnant with my second child. we did not miscarry him. he is the first 2nd child in my family to not be a miscarriage. maybe this will help. good luck.
