I'm 32 weeks pregnant and have swine flu. Don't really feel too bad and due to start my anti-virals this afternoon. Is anybody else in the same boat?

Oh my!!! I am done having children, but just wanted to say bless you and good luck!!! I was sick with a flu like virus during my second pregnancy. I had to be hospitalized due to dehydration. The doctor said that the baby will get everything she needs from my body and not to worry that I hadn't bee able to eat and drink anything. She was born healthy and is now 5 years old. All is well. Good luck again.

Thanks guys, I don't feel that bad, it's definately not like proper flu, more of a bad cold, and I've had it 4 days so I'm kid of hoping that if it was going to get worse it would have done by now. Just wondered how many more out there have it! I'm more worried about my kids getting it, I've a one year old and a 2 year old (so the doctors advice of getting some rest might have to wait for a while!!)

I have just been treated for swine flu and i am 31 weeks pregnant. My doc would only allow me to take paracetemol though unless i got worse. Fortunately i am feeling loads better and baby is doing well. Good luck to you and hope you are feeling better soon x

i really hope everything turns out good and i hope you and your baby are well would like to know how you get on with swine flu i have 2 young children and i been loosing sleep worrying about swine flue also my little girl who is 2 has not been well just lately how can you tell if you ot swine flu and when should i contact somone about getting help if needed please let me know thankyou xx

Bless your heart. I remember being sick with the flu for the first time when i was pregnant. I thought it was part of being pregnant to be that sick. I could only imagion how you feel. Im here if you ever need someone to chat. Keep taking those meds and hang in there. Congrats with the baby. Not to much longer
