My doctor mentioned that I could take Evening Primrose Oil now to soften my cervix & said it may reduce the amount of time to push during delivery. Wondering if anyone has ever taken this & if it worked for them.

Primrose Oil is for your hormones. So all it is doing is altering your hormones (the reason your not supposed to take it untill the end of your pregnancy). It's sort of a 50/50 thing, doesn't hurt to help your chances though!

I took it and i'm not sure it did any thing for me, as I was in labor for 22hrs and only 5cm dilated and eventually had to have an emergnecy c-section.. However it does make you skin look good if you continue to take them..But everyone is different..Good luck..
