We really liked the name Crispin, but my nephew is Christian, so it would be confusing. We ended up with Aengus (Irish spelling of Angus) and Edmund. I have always loved the name Angus because of it's meaning, but wanted it to be unique. I chose Edmund because of Edmond Dantes in the Count of Monte Christo...my favourite book. We chose the English spelling though because my husband's family is English.

We just had a baby boy 4 months ago. My partner wanted to call him Thor, and I didn't like it, but loved the symbolism of it. I sat down with a pen and paper and wrote down some ideas that incorporated the Thor theme,
We ended up calling my son " Thoryn John Joseph" It is a strong name and I have never seen the name Thoryn anywhere else. Goodluck. Let me know what you pick.

I'm in the category of different names for my kids, I have a very common name ;( So ALOT of thought went into their names and have a meaning.
My twin boys are Sage Mathew (dad's middle name) & Zakary Gavin. My daughters name is Chanze Jaya.
And if u do find a name that u love but it might not be as SPECIAL as u want it to be, change the spelling, I did ;)
Good luck!

I saw someone else say they liked Jasper. I told my husband we could give him his middle name, so it would be Jasper Robert. I liked the name Carlisle too (twilight fan LOL, but I liked the classiness of the names). I also wanted Riley, but it's too popular for my taste. I want all my children to have names that they'll hear, people can pronounce, and are still descriptive of their energy. The stone Jasper is used for keeping the holder/wearer peaceful, and to attract happy situations to your being.

My 2 sons are Seth, which is a really uncommon name in the UK, I get loads of comments on it, and Alfie which is widely used here, but was the only name besides Callum which myself and my other half could agree on! We had a few ideas, Liam, Logan and Cameron too x

I always look up names by the meaning. Just changing one letter can change the origin and meaning. My son's name is Rees which means loving, add an "e" to the end and it means enthusiastic. It goes along with my other children = Wisdom, Life, Strength...

Alot of names that have been listed are very common here in NZ,
My partner and his brother have really nice unusual Bolgarian names (their dad side is Bolgarian)
We named our son Dante (darn tay), he suits that name to a "t"

Landon, Liam, are some that not to popular around here. I do hear a lot of Skyler, sense my grandson is named that. My sons name is Dalton. I don't hear a lot of them any more.
Reed is another name I don't hear a lot of. Look in a baby book, you will find a lot of baby names that are not to different bit common anymore.
