butt paste always works for us. I try not to use diaper creams on a regular basis. maybe a&d at night but if you use it too much then it won't work when they have a rash. but pretty much anything with zinc should do it. if not its something serious.

Have you tried A&D Ointment? Diaper rash cream actually made my daughter's diaper rashes worse, so I started using A&D Ointment (that I actually had left over from getting a tattoo... never thought that would be advantageous to my children! :P ) and the rash was gone in three days. It is amazing and I never use anything else anymore!
Also, yogurt helps. I don't know why, but it does.
Good luck!

Stop all juice or anything else with acid in it. Then give her a bath with some oatmeal "Like Aveno oatmeal bath" to soothe it.

hi when my son got his first nappy rash and i had tried everythng it was so bad he used to squirm when i was changing him my mum told me to wash his bum first before using sudo cream this some how hardens the skin and its not too soft (which wipes do) then when u apply cream it sticks and works deep into the skin because its not sliding off because their bum too wet...... hope that helps

Hello Regan- my daughter went through the diaper rash stage too. I found that Butt Paste worked the best for her. You can find it at Walmart. Hope that helps.

Hi Regan....my daughter went thru a spat of bad diaper rash and her doc recommended this...mix together a paste of maalox and baby powder...make sure it is the plain maalox..once you have mixed it together into a paste then apply to the rashed area..her rash looked so much better by the end of the night...hope it helps you
