I am having a baby boy. Due the 28th of september 2010. I have picked a good first name Zachary but i can't think of any good middle names. My son's full name would be Zachary ______ Marshall. I'm still a few months away from having my son so i have some time to think of a good middle name but any suggestions would be appreciated

I choose my kids names based on something special that had happened, either while I was pregnant or ect. My son Drake was named that because his dad was duck hunting when I went into labor. Daughters is DeCoata because her daddy is from N. Dakota. Noahel she was born the day her great grand died his name was Noah. You will pick the right name, don't stress over it much, it will come to you. Good luck.

Alexander seems to blend, in my opinion. You always have to watch our for the initials. ZAM would be awesome

Zachary Daniel Marshall is my vote!! One of the final 2 choices we had. Used Jordan Tyler instead but we have kept the Zachary Daniel for possible future usage. Good Luck and wishes for many restful nights.

I have a Zachary Walton...it's unusual and it is my grandfather's name. We thought it made for a very strong combination.

Hi, My son has 2 middle names Thacery Patrick that I thought went well together. So I think Zachary Patrick sounds good as well. Choose well, He'll have it forever. Even though I like my son's middle names, he is now stuck with the middle initials T P for the rest of his life. I'm hoping most kids won't notice. Good Luck, and Congrats!

Congrats!!! As his first name is 3 syllables a good guide is to go for 1 syllable for the second name. eg: zachary james Marshall.
His initials would of course be ZJ or zeejay if gets to cool when a teenager, there is nothing that he can be teased about in future either. Other names i can think of would be: Brad, (could get away with Aaron - 2 syllables), Sean just a few thoughts, good luck with it all.

Hey, Annabeth! What about the name Cade? I've always liked that name and I thnk it goes well with Zachary and Marshall! You pronounce it just like it looks, or you could maybe spell it with a "K", but I think "C" looks better! lol Good luck!!

What about Zachary James Marshall?? Or maybe use your dads middle name or your grandads middle name? Mine and my partners son is named after my dad and his middle name is after my partners middle name, his dads and grandads middle name and great grandads first name. My little boy is called James Edward x x x

Zachary was one of my choices for my first son-goodname. I can't remember what I chose as his middle name. However, one bit of advice, no matter what you choose: Choose one with one syllable .My son's name is Tyler Dean---one syllable. It may be tough but it is worth the thinking. Good luck!

What is your maiden name? That is often a good middle name and gives ties to your side of the family through name as well.

I think a one-syllable name would be good with Zachary Marshall, if the last-name thing doesn't work for you. Zachary Zeke, Zachary Blake, Zachary John... is there a relative you'd like to honor whose name you could use?

wow i see alot of Zachary Ryan suggestions, id ask you to say that out loud a few times, the double R sounds are really mumbly when you say it and it gets all jumbled up in a rambly way. that said my sons name is eric ryan so its not that i dont like the name ryan. it just doesnt flow with zachary, but im obviously in the minority to dislike the combo :)

Both of our kids' middle names are combinations of their grandparents' names. My son's is Douglan, which is a combo of Doug and Harlan, his grandfathers' first names. My daughter's middle name is RaeAnn, which is a combo of her grandmothers' middle names. A nice way to honor family names but still use your own favorite for a first name. Play around with favorite/honored family names until something clicks.

My little boy is Zachary too. I'm korean and my husband is jewish so to represent the korean part, the middle name is korean. Daejin which means great treasure. Maybe the middle name could represent something of your or your husband's culture. If not, we did like Zachary Dylan.

I like a one syllable middle name to go with Zachary like Glenn. Zachary Glenn Marshall. Do you have any one-syllable family names like Moore or Smith, etc.? Really formal sounding name would be Zachary Harrison Marshall. He could be president! Good luck with the baby.
