Lydia, if its inside the walls, then you need to move forward with terminating the lease and getting out! If it's in the walls, it's an EXTENSIVE removal process, and I'd never be able to be sure that they'd gotten it all.

Girls ive actually been looking for mold the past two days and i have found two spots one inside the ac closet (no wonder) and my son accidentaly kicked his room door two far and made a hole in the wall the size of the door knob and yes there ismold inside!

My daughter was also a preemie, not nearly as early as your daughter, she was born at 32 weeks. She was always sick when she was a baby and a toddler. She had RSV at 18 days and a bacterial blood infection at 1 1/2. She constantly had colds and upper respiratory infections as well as asthma. She had her tonsils removed when she was 6 and either hr immune system improve and she out grew the constant illnesses that I believe were caused by her being a preemie since none of her older 5 brothers and sisters were sick like she was or having her tonsil removed made th difference. We did live in a house for months and during tha time period she was very very sick. Her asthma was terrible and it turned out the house had mold. Once we moved her asthma improved and she went back to her normal amount of sicknesses.

wow congradulations , now when you move into your new home be sure to inspect ALL things before signing anything, also tell the new landlord you want proof a extermanitor was there and dont be affraid to speak up when your child's health is at risk ok

Hi thanks for all your comments, i spoke to the lanlord this afternoon, he said it would be ok... For my surprise he agreed on teturning my deposit!

if there are termittes and mold and pee everywhere... take pictures you will need the proof later if you move out before the lease but you will still need to prove that those are the reasons for your baby getting sick.. i would also take shawnn's advise and get a proffesional help ..sorry for my spelling im very tired

Lydia, without getting someone in that can specifically check for mold, how do you know it's not there? It can grow under carpet, behind walls (in the in-between space, where pipes run) under floors...and you'll never see it, but you will see symptoms of it being there, those symptoms being someone in the house is constantly ill.



If you have screens on your windows, then mosquitos aren't a problem, and you should be keeping the baby covered in those conditions

Ok the only thing i founD so far are termites in everyroom, i dont think they are harmfull, about my neighboor, the problem is that he pees everywhere, i am not lying the are puddles of pee and water outside all over, these bring mosquitos, there is mold outside by the steps but not inside the house. The a/c is always on 76!

You probably do keep your apartment clean, but have you had it checked for "unseen" things like mold, mildew, etc?



They lurk in dark areas, behind walls, in drains, and under carpet, where most cleaning doesn't touch them, or not enough to take care of the issue. Especially in areas like Florida, where the humidity is higher, mold has an excellent situation to sprout and grow.



I, myself, am allergic to mold. I couldn't figure out what was making me so ill that I ended up being on antibiotics for over 6 months, with no end in sight. It wasn't until I got the idea to re-arrange my furniture one day that I discovered black mold in my bedroom, right under my side of the bed, under the carpet. Had been festering under there since before we moved in. As soon as I found it, and changed the carpet, I felt better within 24 hours, and was off antibiotics within the week



So, Like Sabrina said, unless you can SPECIFICALLY show where your neighbor's living habits have contributed to the health of your child, you need to look at EVERYTHING in your apartment first. Have experts come in and check for mold, and any other "hidden" agents that could cause illness.

I highly doubt the neighbors are making your baby sick , I think it may be the germs in the air, maybe if you live on a busy street the fumes from the traffic could be coming in through the air vents or if the air conditioner is on high the hot air/ cold air changes could be the problem. I would call the doctor and see what they suggest and if it is the neighbors then call the landlord to complain, but the only way to break that lease without being held liable for the rest of the contract is to get proof from the doctor that the neighbors are the one and only reason your baby is getting sick .. gook luck
