I need a baby boy name that's unique but not weird. I was thinking Nathaniel (Nathan), Colin or Jayden.

My son's name is Alexei. My family came from Ukraine, so we wanted to honor our heritage. The only problem is sometimes people think he is a girl because of the names Alexis and Alexa.

How about a Celtic name like, Callum, Malcolm, Lachlan, Craig, Fergus, etc, great strong names for mean but easy to shorten for cutsie nicknames..lol The name are no too common and dont sound like your naming them for a rap career either :-P
Here a couple of Moari name's too, Tama (Ta maa) means boy, Tane (taan aye) mean man. My boys are Darren and Malcolm and I am sure you will know your little ones name as soon as you meet him..good luck

I have two girls. Always wanted a boy. Maybe in a few years... I told my husband that if one day we were to have a boy that I would like him to have the name Gabriel. I absolutely love the name! I also have always liked the name Blake Alexander.

My sons middle name is Tearson.
My Father in law is Denis George Tearson and his father was George Tearson Denis and his Father was Tearson George Dennis etc sort of for 8 generations. And my sister in law called the dog Tearson so she wouldnt have to call her kids tearson so i gave it back to the family with James Tearson Slater!! We used surnames as middle names....I like nathan what about Ramsay, or Dillon, Samuel is nice but Samuel Slater just could not get it to work!

I love the names Reuben, Coben, Noah and Eli. It is such a big discision to make though isn't it, as this baby has to have this name for the rest of his life? I'm sure that whatever name you pick it will be the right one for him. Enjoy your new son.

I had two boy names and two girl names picked out for my baby while I was pregnant. I had narrowed it down to those but didn't want to officially choose a name until after I saw her and made sure the name was a good fit. For a boy, I had Carson Joel and Jaxon Thomas picked out. For a girl, I had Emmalea Ruthanne and Elizabeth Leanne picked out. I have a 8 month old daughter named Elizabeth (Libbie) Leanne! Good luck with the name search! I remember how hard it was to narrow it down to those 4 names!!

I have found if you use an old fashion name they are not common now. my son's name is michael and he is in grade 5 he has never had another michael in his class. but i do like unusual names too so his middle name is jory which we all love.

Hiya
Our son is named Calum. We went for that spelling instead of "Callum". Other names that we considered were:- Graeme, Devlin, Conor, Lennox, Drew. I must admit; I have not heard or admitted any students with any of these names. I am a teacher...........

I would stay away from the Aiden, Kayden, Jadyden, Brayden names, if you want a name that is unique and different. I have heard these names over and over again, they are pretty popular right now. My husband likes the name Taran Wade, I like Josiah, Kurt, Isaac.

Kids names are tough, they play a huge part in your childs personality. I named my sons Ragen-pronounced (Ray-gen) and Rowyn pronounced (Row-in) and I named my daughter Castyn pronounced (Cas-tin). Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy and picking a name.
