I need a baby boy name that's unique but not weird. I was thinking Nathaniel (Nathan), Colin or Jayden.

Jayden, Hayden, Caden and Aiden are very popular right now. For boys and girls... Our boys are Gannon and Holden.

Our son's name is Simon Tate, and it fits him perfectly. It has nothing to do with Simon from American Idol. :)

Hi!
I am seeing the names you are thinking about - those are great - depending on what part of the country you live in, they maybe uncommon. Were we are living now - they are very common - many Colin's in the 10 - 15 yr set (Colin Powell - started that one; Desert Storm)
In the area we live Jayden is a girls name -- go figure! How about something like Chase, Seth, Brock. Do you have a family middle name selected?

My step son's name is Nathan. My daughter's name is Jadyn (which can be for either but I would spell it Jayden for a boy).
I really like the following boy names: Hunter, Luke, Carson, Edward, Emmett, Jackson, Gavin, Zachary, Dylan, Evan, Aiden, Cole, Garrett, Jakob, and Joey

I have a Garrett who is 10 and a Greyson is 3- and both names use to very uncommon... but not now... lol.. I think that happens with any name.. kinda like when you buy a car, you dont notice them until you have one and it seems like they are everywhere... but a boys name... I still love my Garrett and Greyson names... and I wish you the best of luck- if I have another and it turns out to be another boy- I am thinking Grayden... but then I think that is to close to Greyson.. but I love the "G" concept...

One of my first choices for my son was Gavin Edward (Edward is my dads middle name and my gramps' first name) my mother in law also loved it...but after months of arguing with the hubby, he won and our son's name is Preston Blake (Blake is my hubbys middle name) the next boy will be Gavin Edward! I also considered Caden and Ashton (we had this one picked before we knew the sex, we had Ashtyn for a girl) I also like Beau, Bennett, Levi, and Wesley. But you also need to consider the nicknames your child could be called in school, I know this gos for EVERY NAME in the books but just think about it! My fathers name is Dale Edward....better then the one my great grandparents tried talking my grams into....Herman Pasquale...(pronounced *excuse my language* Piss-qual-ey)

I like Jayden - my sister-in-law's nephew is named that.
Our names aren't weird, but I don't know how common some of them are - Micah, Josiah, Jeremiah (or some variant), Caleb (and Jonathon - but I think that's fairly common :)

My husband and I went back and forth over boy names-we couldn't find one we both liked that wasn't too common. We settled on Colin Matthew, and I'm really happy with it. I've only met one guy in my life who was named Colin, but I've met at least a dozen Matthew's. I also really liked Judah, Jude, and Jonah, but they sounded funny with Johns, so they were out. A few other good ones that I've come across are Liam, Desmond, Caleb, and Isaiah.

I have two boys and naming them was so hard! We had a girl name picked out right from the start... but struggled with the boy names.
I named my first son Davin. (Pronunciation rhymes with "Gavin") I love his name. I've never come across another Davin and people are always commenting on his name, asking how we came up with it. My second son is Milo. His name seems to be popping up a little more often now, I've heard of one or two people naming their sons Milo since mine was born.
