I need to buy a double stroller

[deleted account] ( 5 moms have responded )

I am looking to buy a double stroller. I have the bugaboo and love love it. Does anyone have any suggestions? I like the side by side ones and it would be nice if one side could have a bassinet and the other side would seat a toddler. I've seen something like it in on line but it looks like it's only sold in canada or europe. (Firstwheels/city twin) Any one have ideas or suggestions?

I agree with Candace - The Graco Duo is great. I have the Duo base model so it's light, fits in the trunk of both of our cars and is a great fit for my 2 year old and an 8 month old.

Hello. I know its not esy to find the perfect stroller to fit all your needs and then some. I found that perfect stroller for me, it is the Macalren double side by side stroller. Its for a newborn to 65 lbs. ITS AWESOME!!!!! ALL the side by side strollers fit through all doors, never had a problem. I have mine for over 5 years. Since its side by side, no one fights to sit in front, its easy to push becasue the weight is distrubted equally. Fabric very easy to clean, it also comes with rain cover and a winter bunts for their legs/bodies. It folds flat like an umbrella stroller, so it can fit in any car trunk easily. Its has a great easy access mesh pocket. Very easy to adjust the seat to lay flat and sit straight up. It has shcok absorbers in the wheels for the best ride for your kids. You need to check out their website for all the features, Maclaren have so many more than the American stroller companies. I love mine. Good luck finding the stroller for you. If you have any questions, please ask.

Side by sides are nice but i have twins and love the stroller i have. the seats come off and you can face them towards each other, towards you or away from you. It did come with one infant carrier holder too. The side by side won't fit through most doorways, so if you go to the mall (depending on the entrance) you can't get through the door with it! Good luck and happy shopping!

I love my Graco Quatro Tour Duo, It's not side by side, but it was the only one I could find really made for a baby and a toddler. The front seat holds up to 50 pounds (most others max out at 35 or 40) and the back seat can fit any Graco car seat. It is heavy and big (almost 40 lbs and we have to remove cupholders and front wheels to get it in the trunk of our alero) but it is very durable and does fit easily into the back of our mini van with a little space left. The basket underneath is large and there is even a smaller basket under just the front seat that is extremly easy to get to which is perfect for my toddler's toys. It handles great and my husband really likes the taller handles that go both across and up and down. Over the last 15 months we have probably put over 100 miles on ours and I would certainly buy it again-except I don't have to ours is still in excellent condition. Hope this helps.
