I think I may have just had a miscarriage :S

My IUD is attached to my wall and about to poke threw the left side...so thats why i'm throwing all these clots , bleeding and cramping so bad. Ever since I had it put in i've gotten my period every other week for the past 10 months. Sooo having it removed is my only option lol

I have an IUD and I've had one for years! Eventually you will not have a period at all (most women don't) with this. It's typical.
When I first got it I had regular periods for a couple months, then it'd skip a month or two, then 3...i seldom ever even have spotting now. So basically nothing.
You are just fine and I seriously doubt you had a miscarriage. It can be a little worrysome though at first getting used to it. I know that for awhile when I first got it I'd take pregnancy tests all the time because I was freaked out...so I know what you're going through.
I love my IUD. When my husband and I try for more kids, and in between pregnancies I plan to have one. I feel very safe with them.

I also had an IUD and had the same problem with bleeding and clots with it. I had my IUD inserted before my peroids returned because I was breast feeding. at 9 months I got my first period and it was normal (there were some clots but nothing to be worried about.) My second period started off with clots and by the 4 day I was filling 2 pads per hour. It turned out that I was having a reaction to the IUD and my body was trying to expelle it. I also had wierd pregnancy symptoms that led me to take a pg test a month before the bleeding was out of control (I had night sweats, irritability, breast tenderness, I thought for sure I was pregnant, and every time I have thought that I was right, this was the first time I was wrong.) My midwife said that the hormones were just out of whack and didn't know what was going on. She took out the IUD that day and within 24 hour the bleeding was within normal period range. I hope that this is the issue. Ohh and the clots are probably just the lining from your uterus "streaking" off, and it is normal after you have a baby and can last a long time. My baby is 13 months and I still have these "clots". Also if you were only 4 to 6 weeks along you probably wouldn't be seeing a ton of clots if you were to miscarry. I hope this helps.

Yikes, that sounds awful! I'm glad you went and got it checked out. IUDs can cause increased risk of ectopic pregnancy, which is life threatening if not terminated soon enough!

Ya so am I!! Uhm she said it's common for it to migrate or even flip completely upside down, she didn't really say how common it was for it to attach to the wall. I've had a hell of a time with this thing, i'm so glad it's getting removed!!

I just thought i'd let everyone know. I went to the doctor and it turns out my IUD is attached/buried in my uterine wall almost about to pop threw the left side. Thats what was causing all the blood clots and the bleeding! They are going to remove it asap!! Thanks for everyones advice... I was really worried this thing was causing me to miscarry babies!!

go get your blood drawn, have them check for hcg, then have it drawn again in 2 days, if it was a miscarriage the hcg will appear and will continue to drop.

I got to the hospital and while i was waiting for the doctor i thought i better go change my pad as it would need changing and thats where i found that i did loose the baby. I know it sounds a bit gross but if u see like a worm looking clot thats the start of ur baby. I saw mine. and at first it dose look a bit gross.""

I haven't noticed any clots like that yet. Like two months ago this happend but by morning my pains were gone and in the morning I saw a clot exactly like you discribed (a worm like clot it was a pale pink covered in bright red stuff) I was really worried but the next day I went into the doctors and my bleeding had pretty much stopped so I didn't think anything of it. And I have had a headache for 2 days now...I didn't want to go to the doctor if what I was experiencing wasn't any symptoms of a miscarriage as I live about an hour and a half from the closest hospital...but i'm going to go now.

Definitely go to the dr. if you are in extreme pain and are bleeding heavily. When I had my miscarriage I had the same symptoms for a few days. I hope it's not but if your bleeding and cramping abnormally something isn't right.

well then if u've had ur iud 10 months, that is odd to have clots!! so pls go get yourself checked out, and you can always get the iud removed if you're worried about it after whatever u find out at the H. :(

i think that if u were preg when u had the iud put in, your doctor would have been able to tell.
i had clots come out after i had my iud put it.
but i'd also say go check it out , go to the hospital or doctor to put your mind at ease!

It sound like it sweetie but depending on how old you daughter is and how fresh your body is from having a baby it could be you uterus shedding its lining. I REALLY SUGGEST NOT TO GET MOMS ADVICE ON HER ID TAKE YOU ASS TO A HOSPITAL OR DOCTOR AND GET CHECKED IT IS EXTREMLY DANGEROUS FOR YOU TO HAVE MISCARRIED. DO YOUR SELF THAT FAVOR GO. WHATS THE WORST THEY TELL YOU IS NO. BUT THEY CAN FIND OUT RIGHT AWAY. AS FOR THE SYMPTOMS THAT CAN BE ALLL MENTAL (osorry for caps just noticed) I personally had wanted to be pregnant for over 2 years and the last yr to 6 months I had growth and pains in my belly ALWAYS had obnoxious craving and many many symptoms. Its your body thinkng sooo hard it is pregnant so it gives off the symptoms.

go to the hospital and demand a scan or check up.i know iuds arent 100% safe from pregnancy and you can sometimes still get periods with it which can be made worse since there is something in your womb but it can also mean a tear, cut..better to get it checked pet..good luck

could have been i dont know much about them or the IUD so if i were u i would maybe go back to the dr and have it checked out
