I was wearing two dangly silver earrings this morning. My daughter grabbed at one of them, and I took her hand away. I still had it in, but I'm guessing that opened the clasp, because now I can't find it anywhere. It was a good inch long, with a large hoop clasp. I'm kind of worried, since it's saturday I can't take her to the doctor. What signs would warrant a trip to the ER????

i would normally say it will eventually pass...but just to be on the safe side call the ER and talk with one of the on call nurses. they might tell you to bring her in, or they might just say sit tight.

if she seems short of breath or her color in her face looks different than usual, thats when i would go to the ER regardless of what anyone says.

good luck, hope all goes well!

p.s- if she does pass it...she might be in a little bit of pain while it's coming out, so be prepared for that. just a heads up!
