I was told it would be ok sine they both happened because of bad luck (first was breach and second was 10 days late and just wasn't for coming out). I hear a lot on the way mums should only have three sections. what do you think? are there mums out there that have had more than 3 sections? I found my second much easier to deal with than my first. does it keep getting easier or not???

Does anyone have any EXACT figures on rupturing after c-section/s - it's RARE!! Yes, you have to do what's safe but section is not always the safest, in fact, vaginal delivery is by far the best route to go IF you can...after all, it's how we were designed to do it!!!

It isn't whether it is easier or not, the factor is IS IT SAFE. The more C-Sect., the more scarring and the danger of rupture. I have had 3 C-sections and did fine. I am an OB nurse. We had a Mom that had 4 C-sections. There was a lot of scaring and the uterus was paper thin...This mom was VERY lucky she didn't rupture.

it is really between you and your doctor, because only he/she knows whats safest. on that note, I have had 4 csections, the first emer., the others because the babies did not want me to go in to labor! I also have a friend who has had 5 csections, and it was fine. it gets easier in some ways cause you know what to expect, and you can incorporate your birth plan to accomodate it. ie my hubby got to cut (part) of the cord for the twins' birth, allowing pictures, requesting keeping baby in recovery with you and nursing after surgery. it is a bit hard on your body, after all its surgery, but I think I had a faster recovery each time around. talk to your doc and find out what they think, but I see no reason why not.

I have also had 2 c-sections......don't ever feel frustrated that you never gave birth "naturally". Whether vaginally or c-section, you have brought two beautiful babies into the world! How you did it shouldn't matter!

I guess so, but I won't be given the option of a VBAC for a third baby... I was told that after two sections, a section was the only option... thanks to the breastfeeding and a very long maternity leave, bonding was not a problem, I just got a bit frustated that i would never give birth naturally as it was my plan...

I had 2 sections, 2nd easier...but I think this is because you know what to expect! Have also delivered VBAC, FAB!!! Much quicker bonding with baby & MUCH, much quicker recovery x
