When I was expecting my daughter I reeally wanted to name her Jacinda, but was vetoed. I still love the name, though, it's beautiful!

Jacy Marie. We had the same J stipulation (our son has my initials and daughter has my husbands). J is hard for a girl. I really like Josephine too but our cat is named that :)

I dont know if you looked into the Duggars.. I looked through all the names and seen the reference to the duggars and remembered Jinger.. it is the only time Ive seen my name splt that way.. I am now 26 and have never met anyone with the same name as me it was kinda nice growing up.. If you want her to be remembered, odd names stick in peoples head.. although I always heard "did your parents name u after gigilans Island".. names are hard, they will be there forever.. good luck

Well, I personally have to have a name with a good meaning. I am pregnant too and I want a J name with a good meaning.
Joel means God is willing and it isn't too common.
Jax comes from the name John and it means God is gracious (plus how many names out there have an x in them).
Joy means joyous. Julia is pretty but doesn't have a special meaning.

I've always like Jordan for a gilr, but it would be ood for a boy also. Good luck picking a name. I'm at 20 weeks and we have been trying to figur out names...we like Heidi or Riley for a girl, but cannot agree on any boy names.

I was just going to say don't use the over used "J" names or "k" names. You can go on a name website and find out all kinds of different names. Ever thought of Jacob? Just kidding. I'm a teacher and I hear that name all the time!!!! I've always like the simplicity of Julie or Julianne.
