I am currently pregnant with me second, and my "morning (aka- all day) sickness is not as bad this time, but I am still struggling with throwing up 3-4 times a day and feeling nauseous all the time. I am currently 13 weeks pregnant, but with my first pregnancy my best day was in my 9th month when I would throw up about 3 times a day. I have tried crackers, ginger, motion bands, sucking on peppermint, lemon drops, etc. I am now on Zofran and Reglan because that is what seemed to help the most last pregnancy, but I was wondering if anyone has any other ideas of things for me to try. Preferably things that are natural. Thanks for your help!

I was sick alllll the time when I was pregnant with my son & what I used to help with the morning sickness were these strawberry fruit popsicles. You can most likely find them in Wal-Mart or any other grocery store. I don't know what it was about them but when I ate them I didn't feel nauseous or throw up for awhile. It helped me alot so maybe it can help you :)

Not a lot helps me. But, I did notice that Coke helped some...not the generic, brand name only. That, and eating carbs. Also, I could only go 1.5 to 2 hours between eating something. If I went any longer, I got sick. I was sick for 20 weeks this time (I'm now 29 weeks). My longest sick was on baby #2 for 22 weeks. With that pregnancy I started looking for patterns and found one--BEEF. Any time I had beef I would be extra sick for the next 3-4 days. This pregnancy, I can eat beef no problem. If it sticks around past the first trimester, I would start looking for patterns!

Zofran did it for me. I was sick the entire pregnancy both times. I feel for you. Good luck!

Thanks for all of the ideas! I will definitely have to try some of the ideas that I haven't tried so far. One of the things that I have noticed last pregnancy and this pregnancy is that something can help for a few days and then when I take it again I begin getting sick from it. The "preggie pops" from Babies R Us and the strawberry popsicles are two examples. I really appreciate all of the help, and Carrie, I would really appreciate your prayers. Hopefully I will not feel sick all 9 months this time :)

You sound like me...I was on the couch most of the day due to 'morning sickness' and nausea. Things that kinda helped...peppermints, constantly eating (seriously, I would puke and walk right to the kitchen to eat something), carbs! (toast, english muffins, bagels, etc.), anything really cold or really hot/warm but nothing in between, and lemonade. Also, eating as quick as you can in the morning - don't lay in bed until you feel sick (tried that!). If I could get up and get something in my stomach, it helped. Good news - I started feeling better around 14-15 weeks and now only puke 1-2 times a week. Good luck, and I will be praying for you! Hang in there!

I forgot to mention if you go to Babies R Us they sell these candies called "Preggie Pop Drops" for morning sickness. I took them while I was pregnant and it helped me.

Awww...you sound just like me during my first pregnancy. I just had my second baby 3 months ago and also suffered from the all day sickness UNTIL I discovered "Bonine" in my third month. You can find it over the counter at any drugstore, Wal-Mart etc and it comes in a sky blue color little box. It is marketed as good for motion sickness but the key ingredient is meclizne and that is what eliminates the nausea. I asked 4 different doctors about it and they all said it was safe to take, I had no side effects whatsoever and most importantly, no risk for the baby. He was born healthy as can be and I actually got to enjoy my second pregnancy! I only had to take 1-2 little pills a day in the morning to prevent feeling sick all day.

I was given Phenergan (spelling?) in my first pregnancy to try to help too but when I read the side effects, nausea was one of them. Thats what it was supposed to prevent in the first place!! LOL read your ingredients and possible side effects to make sure that they're not accidentally making it worse...Good luck!

Coca-cola. Drugstores used to sell the cola syrup for stomach upset. Not sure if you can still find it in stores.
