My baby's two month check up is in a few days where she's supposed to receive a few shots. I was wondering if anyone else felt a little unsure about getting their child vaccinated or had an opinion on waiting a little while.
** I'm not against immunizations- I grew up being very cautious about immunizations because of the reaction my sister had to her DPT shot in the 80's (she has been mentally retarded her whole life after receiving them.)
**Update- Feb 5, 2010**
I decided to start a slower vacc. schedule because I just DO NOT feel comfortable with giving her multiple doses at a young age/size. Also, Some vaccines I don't feel comfortable with the side effects -she will not receive. If you have a problem, too bad; she's my child I'll raise her my own way.
I cried when she had her first shot and watched her like a hawk for the rest of the day to detect anything different in her actions. Thank you everyone for your opinions.
