My husband just created a great play area for our 1 year old son. He took the inflatable swimming pool (10' x 6' x 22 in) and placed a 7.5' x 5.4' x 2.75" airbed in it and 5 bags of plastic play balls in the space left over. Now he has a ball pit and a kind of moon walk area. The sides of the pool make sure he doesn't fall out and he has a great place to develop new balancing, jumping, and climbing (in and out of the 2' high pool) skills.
