My son, 10 month old, has a lot of problems with his development.
The hospital found out, that he has a 2q13 deletion, which he inherited from my husband.
The danish doctors doesnt think that it is the deletion causing problems, because my husband is normal and has the same deletion.
But.... im not that sure, i have read on the inteternet that what doesnt affect the parrent, can affect the child.
Any one else outthere who has any experience with this ?

Hi my 4 year old son has 2q13 deletion & it affects him alot. His is de novo, neither myself or his father carry it. Please email me for further information;
kate.chappell28@yahoo.co.uk
My son has a variety of problems, he is non verbal & can only say a few words, he also has a sound disorder which when attempting to speak he may have a accent, at times sound the same as deaf person attempting to speak. He has poor social skills & does not interact with other children, high palate & anterior open bite, weak abdominal wall, low muscle tone & intoeing of foot. He has just had MRI for nocturnal seizures. My geneticist said all his problems are due to 2q13 deletion & others I have spoken to who's children have 2q13 deletion have problems also. Hope to hear from you soon
