Anybody try the intelligender? I was thinking about doing it just for fun to see how accurate it is. We had a U/S done and it said BOY, but both husband and I thought for sure I was having a girl! What are everyone thoughts about it? Scam or no?

That sounds like it would be a test based on hormone levels in your urine & the hormones in your body. I lot of womens hormones change differently during pregnancy anyway so i'd say it's a bit of a scam.
Considering the percentage of inacuracy in ultrasounds only comes down to human error, vs a fluctuation in hormones for the intelligender I would think that it wouldn't even be 90% accurate. Although I guess it has at least a 50% chance of getting it right.
If you do the test let us know the results. :D

Intelligender is supposedly a urine base test to predict what you will have. If the solution turns to green you are having a boy, if it orangish its a girl! Its claims it has a 90% success rate. Who knows? Its $35.00 for one test!

some of my friends and family were certain that i was having a girl because of the way i was carrying, but turned out that the ultrasound was right and he was a boy.. (I've heard that there can be a high rate of error in the u/s but everyone i know that found out was right..) .. and never heard of the intelligender either.

Then it's a boy! Sorry! Palms up for girls cause they're very "give me" and boys are palms down. It works on every person I have used it on so far!!

I have never heard of an intelligender either but if ultrasound says your having a boy then that is pretty certain.

I have never heard of it, but do this- put your hands out in front of you like you're showing them to me- are your palms up or down?
