Hi, I don't think there is an easy answer here, but all I can suggest is you wait until you feel a little calmer before making any decisions. This is massive situation for you both and I'm sure you don't want to damage your relationship with your daughter. It is hard to think straight when you are both angry and upset x

Hello im eaye! I have one questions to clarify and I do really hope you hot mummys out there could help me. Apparently, I just got married on november. my menses came on 24th november wherelse my menses normally comes every end of the mth or even one week after a month. One wk later, I started to feel nausea, vomitting almost after food, love to smell axe oil, breast tender, headaches and i do eat alot now. On 23rd december, I had my menses but it only last for a day. Full period next day its a brown discharge and next day its a few drops of blood. It doesnt occupy the whole pad. Same goes to the next day and it stops. All test kit I took was negative. Recently, I had back pains and I can sleep long hours. Any idea why is my body reacting like this? I really want to get pregnant. Now, im taking blackmore pre conceive well pills.

Hi, my name is will. I was born 12 weeks early at 2lbs2oz. This was in early 1960's. The Dr. who delivered me told my sister "that boy doesn't stand a snow ball chance in hell of surviving through the night." I'm 51years old and grew to 6'3" 200lbs. I did spend my first year in the hospital.because of that me and my mother never bonded. I had trouble in grade school and they thought there might be something wrong with me. I was tested at the university of miami

I have an 18 year old son who follows no rules, doesn't have a job or go to school and he is living I the apartment I finance. He is developing habits that are going to lead nowhere good. His father and I are divorced and his father has no contact with him and I am nearing the placed of not supporting him. He just seems to be that kid who has o learn b bad experiences.

Hello all and everyone :)
Im searching today online after I just ask my soon to be 19 year old son to leave until he can respect our family living here. All our expectations have been clear and actually extremely simple and respectable to him. ....im just kinda feeling stuck on where or how to go from this point. Of course I dont like him to leave but really its become difficult for us all. And one factor is there possible may be an underlying drug use issue which has created mental health issues for him in return may have put great stress on his understanding and maturity. .... I have more but this is a good start.
I do wish each of u well!

Hi, I am Ioana, mother of An (my daughter, 3 years old).

When I became a mum, in the first months I remember feeling overwhelmed and easy influenced by the millions of ideas floating around me (other mothers, my mother, books, internet , etc).

I remember the competition I felt between mothers and even thou the intentions were good, I remember the feeling of failure in most of my motherhood trials.

Finally, I moved from country to country, following my job (sorry for the grammar and syntax mistakes, English is not my first language :) ), which on one hand was hard, but at least it has aloud me to be free of external influence and as my child grew happy and healthy :) I found that my own ideas could work in raising her.

I feel yet that sometimes talking about stuff that we don't master at one moment and listening to other experiences could help clarify the subject, so my intention is to use this site for brainstorming :)

Good thoughts to all the mothers out there !
Sincerely, Ioana

Tina, Sounds to me like he needs to set the tone. The one thing I have learned from my experience is they will challenge your every move if dads not on board. You need to talk to him and come up with a plan together and he should present it to them! If he isn't involved well your up for a long road of turmoil. You both need to be a team in their eyes and by showing them you both support one another it will hopefully shorten their defiance. Make sure to set clear obtainable rules and consequences for not following them.

Hi my name is April. I just joined today. I'm 31 years old and a first time new mommy. I just had a son named Caiden who is 7 weeks old today. He was a preemie, born at 35 weeks and weighed 5 lbs 5 oz. Fortunately, he came out strong and didn't have to go to the nicu and I was able to take him home after 2 days. My labor was only 2 1/2 hours and did it with no epidural.

Most of my friends have toddlers so I feel a little out of place. I'll be nice to have some advice, support and other moms to chat with.

Hi I'm Lorna I have been a single parent for 20 years now with 4 boys. Well three are young men now 25,23,20 and my surprise child who is now 12. Although their father and I didn't stay married we did remain friends for our children's well being. I always included their dad in everything that was going on in their lives. Unfortunately their dad passed away 2 years ago from cancer. It was a shock to all of us.I work from home right now due to medical reasons. I love what I do. Most of all I love being a mom and doing all the mom things, cooking, cleaning baking,i love being involved with my children's lives. They are certainly what keeps me going everyday. I joined this group to perhaps be helpful where and if I can. I have been through a lot and understand a lot. Look forward to meeting some of you. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

you should feed her and once done and know she had enough. Lay her in her bed dim the lights and shut the door. She will cry the first time a lot. After you've done it a lot she we cry less. My daughter is 11mnths and she was like that you just cant give in to the crying I use to. Now I can lay her down in her room and she cry for like 10seconds get her bottle and be sleep. It will also be better if you put her to bed at the same time every night.
