I am margaret and i am kind of new in the world of motherhood. I had my first (and only) baby nine months ago, but i have also been a step mother for two children for 5 years now.
It's been veeeeery challenging and difficult to cope with both being a step mother and having a baby of my own, which gives me reason to believe....you will be reading a lot from me !

Hi my name is Jackie and I'm 34. I'm from MD and I have a 14 month old son. I joined CoM to have other moms to talk to and bounce ideas and suggestions off of. My son always slept through the night from six months to a year and then got the flu and four molars at once and he gets up at night now. I was seeing what other moms did to cope and get them to sleep through the night again. Im hoping its temporary but worried since its been awhile that its turned into a habit! Anyways just nice to jave other moms to talk to!

Hi! My name is Samari and I'm from New Orleans currently living in Cypress, Tx. northwest of Houston. Hello. My name is Jeannie. I'm 26 years old and the mother to a 16 month old little boy, Cyrus. Lots of people ask if us naming him Cyrus has any personal regard to Billy-Ray or Miley Cyrus - The answer is no. We simply liked the name and have since learned that Cyrus was actually a King back in Biblical times. Cyrus' father and I have been together for 6 years and look forward to many more years together!
I stumbled upon CoM after Googling "meet moms in my area". You see, we live in a relatively desolate area in northeastern Georgia. In May, it will be 4 years since we've moved here from northeastern Ohio and it has been quite difficult to meet new people. Especially, since daddy and I both work 3rd shift, 45 minutes away in South Carolina. So, those we do meet are quite a drive away and the work schedule, in general, makes it difficult to have a social life.
Anyhow, I look forward to meeting you other mommas!

Hello everyone. My name is Shauna who is engaged to the wonderful man of my dreams and mother to two beautiful girls and (would have been) step mother ( I just consider him to be my son and not my stepson) to a beautiful little boy that passed away in Aug. 2010. He would have been 6 in June and our little girl will be 6 in September and our other little girl will be 3 on Christmas. We are from a small town in Missouri where everyone knows everyone and everyone knows everything about everyone. It sucks. Hello to all,I am new here only had it for maybe 3 days.



I have a gorgeous 15 month old baby boy,Hunter.I have a wonderful husband Ryder.I am 23 years old from Australia I'm also currently 3 months pregnant with my second gorgeous baby,we don't know the sex and have no names in mind yet but we will in time,were both extremely excited (Hunter doesn't really understand).

Hi, I am Sarah. I have 3 kids. My stepson, Bailey (15), my son, DJ (2), and my daughter, Clara (11 months). I am a stay at home mom. My hubby and I have been together since June 2009 and married since September 2010. We live with my mom and are very cramped. We make the best of it though and are working towards moving out, hopefully in a year. We are from a small town in southern Indiana, Lanesville. The closest big city to us is Louisville, Kentucky. I enjoy staying home with my kids and am hoping that when we do have a place of our own we can become foster parents. We may not be able to give them the most expensive things, but love is something we are unlimited on and would love to share with as many kids as possible. I happened upon this group when searching for recipes in a Google search. I hope that I am able to meet some new moms on here and maybe if some of us live close to one another create play groups.

My name is Jessica and I'm mated to the love of my life... who I also never see because while I'm on the 'kid shift', he's working the night shift at a major distribution warehouse... and then evenings at the market down the street. It's awful... which is why I started the group "Mamas with Second Shift Papas" in hopes of finding other people who are feeling alone in this way. Hooray for networking!



I'm blessed with a 4 month, 2 1/2 and 7 yr old boys, and am able to homeschool them due to above gripe. We're all J's in the family, traceable several generations back with some gaps... and yes the elders DO sound like they're crazy when calling someone. We're strange bird's, and trying to free our family through peaceful parenting and some other huge changes. Happy Trails!
