Are you pointing his willy down when you put his nappy on? If not then it will shoot up and out the top of the nappy. If it is pointing down a huggies will last all night. My baby boy never leaks.

I hated huggies nappies, my daughter would always leak in them. I tried baby love as a friend suggested them but didnt really like them. I have found snugglers to be the best. I change my LO at 745pm just before bed, then when she wakes in the morning roughly 7-830am. She sleeps from 10-12 horus per night and I never have a problem with her and dont change her in the middle of the night as she sleeps through. Havent had Snugglers leak yet :)

we use huggies too and havent had any probs yet lol i am going to assume u are from australia too as there are not many ppl who mesure bottles in ml lol if you are going to change nappys dont get pampers crusers witch is the only style pampers they sell in aus as they are realy thin..grea 4 day but not 4 nite..if you are willing to try the pampers Baby Dry Diapers they mite help but u will have to get them on line and its not easy to get them aus....i have got almost evet nappy on the aus market and nothing is quite as good as huggies we just dont seem to have a good variety here.....id try some of the other ideas though with the inserts but u would prob have to go to a baby bunting stor to get them :) good luck hun hope u work out something

You could try a pocket cloth diaper (with microfiber inserts) and instead of just stuffing the diaper with one insert, you could double stuff or triple stuff. With cloth you can also just fold an insert in half and put the extra layer near the front of the diaper.

I have 3 boys and one girl and I've noticed that the boys, particularly in the winter tended to pee more. Not much I could do other than make regular nappy checks and changes. One thing though is if your boy is peeing more than you think is normal and seems very tired or lazy and thirsty, you may want to get him tested for diabetes. Just a thought.

Kalpita Mane is right I have 2 boys and you should always point there penis down so as the pee goes into the diaper and not out.

I hate huggies, they always leak. Try another brand, I use pampers and never had a problem. I have 3 kids. Also try a night time diaper they are more absorbant.

I use Huggies Supreme and have no problems what so ever with nighttime or daytime leaks. My son would leak through the regular Huggies but because of his allergies we were pretty limited to what he could wear. I have heard of people putting a maxi pad or equivalant in their little ones nightime diapers and have it working so this might be an option for you. Also if you do have a sleepy squirmer, my son wiggles around alot while he sleeps, the Huggies Supreme Little Movers might be a good fit.

I just switched to pampers becuase they were the last ones i hadnt tried and they work fantastic he will sleep 6 or 7 hours and he hasnt leaked once and the good thing is they arnt expensice and they smell really good.

Hi Kerrie. I have a daughter and have not had much experience myself..but a friend of mine had a son and she mentioned that he would leak until she was told that she needed to keep his penis pointed down when the diaper would go on as the urine would go into the soaking area versus upwards and out. It sounds funny...but it helped her! I don't know if you've already done that.

My 8 month old was (and is) the same way, but as soon as I put him in a diaper that was one size bigger he stopped leaking though them...now at night I use the new huggies night times and they are "AMAZING"... no more 2 am diaper changes, no more wet sleepers, dry sheets and a happy baby who sleeps from 8 to 8. The 12 hour papmers filled up really quickly and felt like they were filled with jello and he still managed to leak through them...these new diapers have been my nighttime joys!!

my oldest boy would get all soaked for him his little peepee when he would be would find the only places where the diaper could not hold any liquid. we started buying diapers that where made for just boys, then a friend told me that she would drape a cloth diaper (thin ones) on her son first then a disposable diaper as well. it helped.

You can play with different brands of diapers. Some people put a diaper on that fits and another a size or two bigger over it for night-time. We've had some kids that don't leak at night, and others you can check every hour and they'll go from being bone dry one hour to the bed totally saturated the next. With our second that did that, they did an ultrasound and found out she simply retains huge amounts of urine for hours, and when she finally does go, she GOES. You could be facing this issue as well.

Hi I have a boy who is almost 9 months. I personally hate huggies, my son leaked all the time. I used to use the walmart brand but once he started sleeping 12 hrs a night I switched to the Pampers 12 hours baby dry brand. I had to put him in size 4 because he leaked one night. He sleeps for 12-13 hrs straight and is still completely dry in the morning, diaper weighs about 5 lbs but still dry LOL. He eats a full 8 oz. bottle (240mls) before bed. The first time i every used huggies i hated them, i didn't even finish the package because he kept leaking. Try the pampers baby dry and if you have to go up a size oh well. I always had to move him up a size before the suggested weight. Try that and see what happens. Good luck hope this helps

I don't know what is available in your area but Target brand diapers are the best. Every time I used huggies they leaked. Pampers also work well. You may be able to find diaper doublers. They look like large sanitary napkins without the plastic backing. You put them in the diaper for extra absorbency. Huggies overnite are ok. I had this problem with my daughter but not my son, so you are probably not doing anything wrong. He just has more urine output. Make sure his penis is pointing down when you put the diaper on. It helps keep them from peeing out the top. Make sure the diaper is snug. If none of this helps, then my trick is to layer sheets and waterproof covers so that if there is an accident then you only have to pull off a layer and they are clean sheets underneath. Good luck!

my lil boys 4 months n in the same situaton hes always soakin i use huggies aswell iv tried pamper they made him sore although he does sleep through he goes 2 bed at 10pm then thats him till 6-7 am x

I don't know if you have them where you are, but here in the stores I have seen a things called diaper doublers, they look kind of like feminine pads, but they fit in the diaper and it makes them alot more absorbant. Also there are night time diapers and they are alot thicker I used those with my daughter because sometimes she would wet the sheets. You could also try putting a cloth diaper cover over top of the disposable. My sister in law used to do that.
