I am a mother of a 3 yr old little boy and my fiance and I have been trying for 2 years now to have another child. I have been to the fertility Dr. and had all my test run and all they keep telling me is that It is considered unexplained, all my test results came back normal... My fiance has done a number of semen analisis and they all come back with normal numbers... A few months ago we tried Fertilaid but it did nothing for us and I dont have insurance so treatments are out of the auestion right now. Any advice or input? Tips on what you did to help concieve?

We had no infertility issues other than it took us 3years to get pregnant the first time - just to make sure we arent hitting 40 before the next one comes we are already trying for nuber 2 but its only been a few months now. What I found worked for me the first time was some candle magic (although I understand that this may not be eveyones cuppa tea so I guess the equivalent would be praying with a lit candle to focus the wish on) - Im assuming you have already gone down the road of tracking ovulation etc. A few other Mums have said that seeing a Chiropractor helped them. The most common thing I have heard is to stop trying for a little while to take the pressure off - once you relax about it it happens :) You could also see a herbalist as there are some simple herbal remedies that can help increase fertility. Whatever you try I hope you find something that works for you soon...

Hello Chelsey, Do you know when you ovulate? If not sure purchase a ovulation kit. You're most fertile during the few days before you ovulate, which usually happens around 14 days before the end of your menstrual cycle. Since ovulation is a 24-hourish window, we subtracted 13 to 15 days from the date of your next period for a range of when you may be ovulating. it's best to get babymaking at least two days before the start of your ovulation window. As a result, you're considered most fertile during the 13 to 17 days before your period arrives. The best time to get pregnant is in the mornings. SO you know what do. Good luck!!!!

I don't know if I'm in the "infertility" camp just yet, but it's been odd for me and my husband. The first time I got pregnant with my daughter it happened on the first try. Now the second time around we've been trying for about 4 months. I'm hoping (praying, actually) that I'm pregnant now but I'm not going to test for at least another week. It's really frustrating for me. I basically "gave up" because I know that when you give up is when it happens. So now we're not really trying, more like having fun and seeing where it leads. I'm hoping it leads to a belly bean.

I can relate! Sorta............ we get pregnant, but we go through miscarriage 2 months into it. I have suffered from an ectopic pregnancy so I am always well aware when we are pregnant & can't just right it off as a LATE period. Anyway..... to your question.

Getting pregnant isn't as easy as it looks!! Truely there are like 2.5 days that a woman can get pregnant a month. I think sometimes its that we are too tired, wore out, and really just don't want to have sex for fun! We need to try to find the fun in sex again. hard I know!! But I think that helps so much more, because we tried for 8 months to get pregnant after our son, ( we tried for 2 weeks with him). Making babie isn't so easy!! Keep your head up, and go attack your hubby.

I am having the same problem. My husband and I have been trying for 3 yrs. to conceive a second child. We have been to two fertility dr's and both of them cannot give an exact reason we have not been able to conceive a second time...we conceived with no fertility help the first time. I have had surgery for endometriosis and both had thought that that was the problem but still have not been sucessful. We are going on month #7 with 2nd doctor and running out of money & loosing hope. Insurance covers part of invetro but can't afford what isn't covered. It is very frustrating that the doctors cannot give us an answer. I am sorry that I don't have a solution for you but just know that you aren't the only one that is having this same problem. We are moving on to fertility shots to produce multiple eggs so the sperm have more targets and we are keeping our fingers crossed. Not happy about having to give myself a shot in the stomache every day but it's what I have to do at this point and it really doesn't hurt for more than a second. Hope this helps.

I never had trouble conceiving (quite the opposite actually :), but my friend had one child no problem, then tried for years to have another. I don't know what it is called, but she had dye put through her tubes to look for a blockage. They couldn't see anything wrong, but the next month, she got pregnant! When that baby was six months old, she got pregnant again (without trying). The nurse had told her that that procedure often has that affect, they don't know why. So maybe something simple will work for you (but I know how it is to be without insurance!). Good luck!!!
