oh yes! I think it has more to do with the fact that we are usually trying to do 15 things at the same time, which means we are bound to forget something!

Trust me it's not just you, I find myself forgetting the smallest things sometimes even a few times a day. My fiance picks about it but he's pretty good about helping me keep things straight. It's easy for them to remember everything still they didn't have to be in labor for hours on end to make them forget lol. I'm sure he doesn't mean anything by it.

This was my first symptom of my second pregnancy. I was like that during my first a little and for years afterward, but it was bad at the very beginning of the second pregnancy. I took a pregnancy test at 4 weeks - mainly because of the "baby brain". lol. Lasted the whole pregnancy and a while after. My son thought it was soooo funny.

Its not jsut you, I have been like that since my oldest was born 4 years ago and I still can't remember anything.

I think its just because we have so much going that its hard to keep up.

I now have one 4 a 20 mon old and 9 weeks old and I don't think it will ever go away.

Your just going to have to go with the flow. lol

good luck

I'm not sure that hormones would have much to do with memory, but the lack of sleep that comes with being a parent sure would!

b4 baby for me i could remember everything for everyone , never wrote anything down, now 2 years after my baby has been here, my memory is almost gone, i guess its bc we have baby on our mind, and we think as long as the baby is happy, everything else is fine, hahaha. my husbands just laughs at me

I forget everything. Not that I remembered everything before i got pregnant... but now its 100x worse, seems to get a little worse everyday. I think it entertains my boyfriend though. I'm sure it will drive our son crazy when he's old enough to realize mommy has the attention span of a squirrel and the memory of a 98 year old woman.

No memory for me either. I just received an email from one of my girlfriends saying she had to cancel our plans to go for coffee with another friend of ours. I completely forgot about it.
I even find myself saying the wrong words in sentences. I told my 13 year old to throw his laundry away instead of putting it away.

Sometimes I forget the names of simple items. One day it took me forever to think of the word "hand sanitizer." My poor brain lol

Right after I had my first I started to forget things it started in the hospital!! I just chalked it up to motherhood. I have numerous calendars and sticky notes and now that the kids are older I tell them to remind me of things its awful but I am functioning just not like I was pre-children.

Ah, baby brain! I had two babies in two years, and my memory and organisational skills went out the window. It's a hormone thing, I'm afraid, but it will eventually improve. My youngest is two and a half now and I'm just about getting back to myself again!

It's called pregnancy brain, and I don't think it ever goes away!! I swear I've gotten stupider with each child!

It's not just you :D I had a practically eidetic memory before I got pregnant. Since I had my son it's gotten a little better, but nowhere near where it was before. Several books/articles I've read have said this is from hormonal changes, and there's nothing we can do about it except learn to laugh at ourselves :D
