Is it normal for my 3 month old baby boy to only want to be with me?

This is a natural response. Don't make a mountain out of a molehill. It's a phase. It will pass. Help your husband to get through any jealous feelings that may arise as a result of this phase. Reassure him that the baby is going through s phase and that it will change.

After all, he's only 3 months old!!!!!!!

Frene', Why not give the breast milk in a bottle? I have done this from very early on with both my boys and had no problems whatsoever. In fact I think it made the transition from breast to bottle very easy. Also it was a great way to involve grandma and with the second one it gave me time to be with the first at bathtime and dinner time. What problems did you have?

very normal.
I would pump some milk and let daddy give him a bottle once in a while, so that he gets used to another close person feeding him. With your milk the transition should not be so bad.

Totally normal. It will change around the time her turns 3 so enjoy it now while you can.

My nephew was born when I was still in high school so I was around him a lot! He bonded with me early on (drove my sister crazy). Babies are people and bond with certain individuals in all stages of life.

Absolutely don't expect your son to ever not be like that if mine is anything to go by. My daughters both went through stages but my three year old lives everyone but NEEDS mummy.

I agree with all the mums. My little boy was like that too...they are very small and mummy is the most familiar to them. He will want his daddy and others soon enough. My boy is now 7 months and cannot get enough of his daddy or his grandpa! He gets very very excited when he sees either of them and when he is in their arms he has to be encouraged to come back to me. It is very cute!

He just came out of your uterus, he knows you. My kids only wanted me too until like 6 months maybe longer because they saw my husband 2 days of the week.

Yup my 3mo old EBF son is the same exact way, except he adores his brothers but probably because they are with him as much as I am.

Yes to what the other ladies have said. He is just a tiny baby, he will grow out of it as he gets older. Keep Daddy involved and you'll soon see the change. :-)

Happened to me too. In fact my almost 3 year old is going through that stage . . . again. I agree with "Little Mis Can't Be Wrong", enjoy but keep your hubby invovled. It will change.

Totally normal. Both of my children went through stages of wanting me over daddy or vice versa. Just enjoy it, but don't make it so dad cannot be involved.
