Julianne.... I wouldn't give plain water to a 4 month old either. ;)

I personally wouldn't take things most Drs suggest. The majority of Drs are not taught about natural remedies because its their competition. Natural medicine isn't even funded by the government for that exact reason. Try getting a student loan for a naturopathic course... Chamomile tea isn't any more harmful then plain water. The most that will happen is...she'll feel better.

I personally wouldn't unless adviced by the doctor or health visitor.

I wouldn't be giving a 4 month old anything other than breast milk or formula... cold or not.

Caffeine is not good for babies. Naturally caffeine free tea is great for babies. Especially chamomile for gas, colic, colds etc.

No I wouldn't, some ppl do give milky tea to babies/ children but I don't see any reason why they need it at all. Caffine is not good for us let alone them.

Did your friend say why she thinks it will help your Childs cold? Because i'v never heard that one before.

No, it's not good for her. All she needs at this age is milk.

wow, never heard of such a thing. 4 months old should not be given anything without the knowledge of the doctor. This sounds very risky. Imagine what her liver and kidney will be put through!
