Quoting Tammy:

ROFL!! Ah yes, the good old days of yellow, non-toxic-smelling poo. Who would have thought we'd be pining for those days?

LOL And the funny thing is, I remember my son's first poopy diaper and how I made this God awful face as I was cleaning him.  My husband took a picture of me and my "gross face" lol  Now?  That was NOTHING comared to the smells that come outta him.  The other day he was in his room playing and had shut his bedroom door.  I could smell his nasty diaper all the way down the hall and into my living room lol!  Thank God it didn't leak......that time anyways.....

If breast feeding YES but if not then def. get it checked out bc my daughter was on Similac Advance early shield and her poop was that way and her poop was yellow and runny diarrhea and it gave her a AWFUL beyond awful diaper rash and we changed her formula to similac sensitive rs and it changed in one day!

If you are breast feeding it should look like yellow mustard...and like someone else said, grainy. Strange how I miss the yellow poop.....my 19 month old's butt just exploded and as I was wiping the toxic waste from his bottom I was thinking about the "good old days" of yellow poop.....siiiigh.......

As a first time mom, I realized that I was deluding the formula too much. I was using liners and wans't measuring it right. That could be a reason to explore.

The baby's poop consistancy can thicken up or be glue-y, or just plain watery at times will being breastfed. BF poops is one reason I LOVE cloth diapers. Teh cloth "catches" the poop unlike disposables, which the poop tends to shoot out of every possible avenue.

As long as your nursing it should look yellow and seedy!

What Jennifer said. If you are bottle feeding, it may be worth asking your Dr. about, though because they normally have firmer and darker colored poops.

Are you breast-feeding? If so, that is what their poop looks like.
