is it ok to give a nearly 10month old eggs?
it depends on the baby. i tried it with my son and he got a rash. he has ezcema though, and lots of babies with ezcema have food allergies as well. so if your baby has ezcema, or if there is a history of allergies in your family then wait until a year. if not then give it a try
My daughter started eating eggs at that age. I had the doctors "go-ahead". The reasoning she gave me was that my daughter was breastfeeding and getting what I was eating anyway. She hadn't had any reactions to that, and there was no family history of egg allergy. At age 2, it's still her favorite breakfast.

I new study refutes the previously held belief that certain foods should be withheld until after 1 year. It is Now believed that withholding certain foods (namely eggs, white potatos) can cause allergies.

I am assuming your little one has had her 2 month, 4 month and 6 month shots already.
Those vaccinations are actually cultured in chicken eggs. And if there is no reaction then, or previous family history, there is no reason to hold off on giving your little one eggs.
My little girl loves eggs in every way imaginable. And we started her after 6 months. (She hated baby food, so this was a table food that she could eat and was a great source of protien!)

they used to say wait until 12 months to introduce egg whites, yolks could be given earlier. Last month at Riley's 6 month check up the Dr. told me they don't really use that rule anymore unless there is a previous egg allergy in the family. I was told that all the old "rules" per say have been tossed. The only one left being the "wait four days between new foods" rule. Other than that they have changed things a lot. Cereal doesn't have to be their first food or in their diet at all, fruits, meats, veggies, grains etc. can be introduced whenever you like, no order necessary. This is all after 6 months of age of course, nothing but breastmilk or formula until then.
Get Cracking, lol

I have given Struan scrambled eggs a couple of times, making sure they were well cooked. Then someone told me they shouldn't have them til a year but he has been fine. He is still breastfed and we dont have a history of allergies except a touch of hayfever on daddy's side so I'm not particulrly worried. If your baby has allergies or if there is a strong history in the family should maybe avoid them another couple of months but if not there is no reason not too. :)
