It’s a myth that babies can not have sunblock applied to their skin. Infants older than 6 months of age can have the sunscreen applied to the entire skin and infants under 6 months of age can have sunscreen applied to very exposed area such as the hands and face in just the amount needed to cover those areas. There are sunblocks available with all natural ingredients.

She can't have it yet because of her age. Sunblock is not safe till 6 mo old. It is a cancer causing substance, and even living in key west florida i didn't use it on my kids at any age. There is no need. Use shade instead. We never got sunburned.

Too young for sunblock. Keep her in the shade.

they have sunblock for babies. that should work. you could also ask your pediatrician if it would be alright. but i would reccommend the shade if there is shade around.

NO SUNBLOCK! Shes way too young. The bottle will tell you not to use it on them as well. Shade, light colored clothing to reflect suns rays and most definately a hat. No reason she cant join in the family fun too.

Keep her in the shade, a tshirt and diaper is enough, bring a light blanket (she's cold) and a hat (if she wakes and to protect her eyes) for just in case, don't plan to hold her the whole time ( you will both get too hot), lay her in the stroller (brakes ON) and keep shaded. If she wakes and seems hot, dip her feet and legs in the pool.
A little sun is good for her, but try to keep it to no more than 5-ish minutes.

She is way to young for sunblock! You start the sunblock when they are about 6months old.I would just suggest to you that you keep her under shade and that her body is fully covered in clothes. And put a hat on her little head...

If she's sleeping I would use a baby monitor and leave her inside, but I would say it's ok if you bring her out, keep her fully covered from the sun, and spray her with cool water so she doesn't over heat. Also make sure you keep her hydrated.

i used to take my son outside but i put lots of sunblock on him and had him in the water with this turtle that had a sun roof... he loves the water to this day, he takes hour or more baths lol. 86 is also cool to me in Texas, it may be different where you live.
