I am 28 years old and was diagnosed with high blood pressure a year ago! I am currently on meds and my husband and I are discussing having our third child. Any suggestions on previous experience with this and or is it safe to try?? Thanks for the advice ladies:)

I'm in the same boat as you, but after researching, I find that you can still have a healthy pregnancy even if you have high blood pressure. Just check with your doctor, and discuss your situation.

High blood pressure can be VERY dangerous for a baby, and some blood pressure medications are not recommended during pregnancy. If you are going into a pregnancy with high blood pressure, you are a high risk (as is your baby). However, from what I believe, it is possible to manage your blood pressure in pregnancy under very close medical care. I would suggest that this is something to talk to your doctor about, because (1) they have your medical history, and (2) they understand the medicine you are taking and (3) this is something that would need VERY close medical monitoring. Only your doctor could advise the risk to YOU and your baby.
If you want a personal opinion, I wouldn't do it, I think it is very high risk. I would feel blessed with the babies I had and wouldn't want to risk my health because it is also risking their mother, but that is me.
