Is it safe to have lizards in the same house with a newborn? The lizards do not roam around the house

Like others said, it's fine as long as you observe proper safety like hand washing. Also, I know this is going to sound silly, but make sure that your daughter *never* puts the lizards in her mouth or kiss them. I don't know what breed you have, but with smaller lizards there have been actual cases of children swallowing them... which is bad for everyone involved.

Thanks everyone. We have a 2 1/2 year old ad she loves our lizards. And so do I, glad to hear we can probably keep them.

Yes definately safe we have had all sorts of lizards the kids love them. Just make sure you wash your hands after handling them due to bacteria. Its the only prob with them.

I had a lizard with my son and he seemed okay, i did let him touch it as well just to get a feel for him.  I had no issues.
