I'm 39 weeks pregnant and having mega back pain! its been stopping me from sleeping I've told the midwife but she doesn't seem to be to worried about it. I started using tiger balm from boots which makes the pain go away and the aroma helps me to sleep it doesn't say anything about not using it on the pot but i lost the leaflet does anyone know if its safe to use tiger balm during pregnancy? x x

Yes you can use tiger balm during pregnancy. It is actually safer for you than a heating pad. Also put tennis balls in a sock and stand up against a wall. Rub your back up and down against the balls so that it massages your back. That helped me a lot. I used to do it right before bed.

I was told not to use it before. Have you tried chiropractic or physio? My chiro has been a lifesaver in all 3 of my pregnancies. (Of course, it could be early labour...)
