Is it true about the what sperm does to make your baby a boy or girl

Hello everybody just a bit curious I need everybody's opinion on this Ok I have 3 kids (All girls) by the same man found out he can't make no boys at all with me lol. So I spoke to this mid wife while I was still pregnant with my last baby on a doctors visit and she says that when your ovulating and you have sex with you bf or husband around that time that the boy sperm only lives for 24 hours and the girl sperm lives for about 72 hours I dont know it just sounds crazy to me anyways were not together anymore I have a new bf he has a daughter and still wants more kids so I am like but I am afraid that if we have a child together it will be another girl so what do you all think

Your midwife is correct. Male sperm also swims faster than female sperm so if you have sex at ovulation time only then there is a good chance you will have a boy. If you have sex before ovulation then there is a higher chance it will be a girl as girl sperm swim slowly and can live up to 5 days. I really wanted a girl and I used this method to give me better options of having a girl and hey it worked.

yes it works, or it did for me. important to find out when you ovulate as you are often told it is 14 days after your period. but that is not always the case. I used a thing called maybe baby (can buy from chemists i think or look online) it tells you when you are ovulating by your saliva. and yes, have sex on the day of ovulation. All that being said, i wouldn't try to have another baby unless you were happy with another girl. just cause people say it works doesn't mean it will work for you.

its true male sperm swim faster and die sooner,
Female sperm swim slower and liver longer.
so if you want that boy try to have sex on the day you ovulate and the days following not before :)

Oh Ok thanks I just want a boy and thats it I am finish with being pregnant lol but its going to be a very long time before I ever get pregnant again lol

Your midwife is correct - better chance for a boy if sperm meets egg soon after ovulation (my understanding is that they swim faster) better chance for a girl if sperm meets egg a bit later in the cycle (women often are not as fast, but we have greater endurance and we live longer)

Many women can clock their cycle close enough to try to a boy or girl
