is my 3 month old startng teething?

My kids all started drooling around three month old. Their teeth would float up and down until they were ready to come through. Most didn't cut their teeth until 7-9 months. It made for a long teething process. Frozen washcloths work great during the summer. I've also used the Baltic Amber teething necklaces. They don't chew them. You can put it on as a necklace or double it around the ankle. Believe it or not it works as an anti-inflammatory. It cut my last little guys drooling in half.

My youngest son (of 3) got his first tooth at 3.5 months and had ALL of his baby teeth by the time he was a year old, including his molars. And yes, he did lose them early and get his permanent teeth early; lost his first baby tooth at barely 4 years old and had his full set of 8 permanent front teeth by the time he started kindergarten at 5. That little guy with a mouthful of big teeth in his first school pics was quite a sight!! Then he had ALL of his permanent teeth by the time he was 9 and guess what? His wisdom teeth were coming in and had to be removed just before he turned 15. Done!!

my daughter got her first 2 bottom teeth when she just barly turned 4 months old, so he very well could be teething.

Hey Elizabeth.. myy oldest daughter started to get her first tooth at 2 months but the crazy part was that it wasn't her front teeth or 2 bottom teeth but the teeth bezide herfang teethh!!! Lol by 4months old she had 2 teeth both the ones next to the fang teeth.. Her dentist said it is unual to get those teeth first but just means that the eariler teeth grow in tbe sooner kids will lose! !! So if ur baby is starting to teeth, she/he will like it cause they will lose them quicker!!

Not even my pediatrician believed me until she saw them popping through...but my son's teeth totally started coming in at 3 months. He was so uncomfortable. ) : The upside was that he was eating baby food by 5 months old and that allowed him to sleep really soundly and we could wean from expensive formula. Good luck with the teething. Baby Ambesol helped.

My 10 month old started teething at 3 months so don't worry. She has all 8 front teeth now & is starting on her 1 year molars. I found her teething was easier than my first one, I think, because she was younger. Good luck, hope it all goes well for you & your little one.

My little Guy started teething at 3 months and every one said I was crazy but by 4 months he had 2 teeth and all of his front 8 by 10 months don't worry!!

My pediatrician told me that baby salivary glands don't crank up to full production until around four months old. So a LOT of times a baby will drool like crazy for a couple weeks around that time until they figure out how to swallow all that new saliva they're making. It is possible that she could be teething, although it's on the early end of the range. I'd say more likely just drool and it should taper off before too long. :)
